A single cable optical data/power transmission Ethernet cable adapter system includes a powering device coupled to a single cable optical data/power transmission powered device ('powered device') using an Ethernet cable and a single cable optical data/power transmission Ethernet cable adapter device (“adapter device”). The adapter device includes an Ethernet port coupled to the Ethernet cable, and a single cable optical data/power connector connected to the powered device and including optical data conduit(s) and optical power conduit(s) with a greater cross-section area than the optical data conduit(s). A data communication system receives electrical data from the powering device via the Ethernet port and uses it to transmit optical data via the optical data conduit(s) to the powered device, and a power transmission system receives electrical power from the powering device via the Ethernet port and uses it to transmit optical power via optical power conduit(s) to the powered device.

A locking element is movably coupled to the chassis adjacent the networking device, and an actuator device in the chassis is configured to actuate the locking element. A networking device security subsystem in the chassis receives a networking device locking command via a network, verifies the networking device locking command and, in response, controls the actuator device to actuate the locking element into a locked orientation that prevents movement of the networking device relative to the chassis. A PoE power aggregation system includes a PoE power aggregation device coupling a powering device to a powered device. The PoE power aggregation device includes first and second powering device connectors coupled to first and second powering device ports on the powering device, respectively, and a powered device connector coupled to a powered device port on the powered device. The PoE power aggregation device receives data from the powering device via the first powering device connector, and transmits the data to the powered device through the powered device connector. A rack front-to-rear cable routing system includes a rack chassis having a first rack wall, a second rack wall opposite the first rack wall, a first rack entrance defined between the first and second rack walls, and a second rack entrance defined between the first and second rack walls and opposite the first rack entrance. A computing device housing is defined by the rack chassis. A rack front-to-rear cable routing device is located between the computing device housing and the first rack wall, and defines a protected cable conduit extending between the first and second rack entrances. The protected cable conduit houses a first cable connected to each of a first port on a first computing device in the computing device housing located adjacent the first rack entrance, and a second port on a second computing device in the computing device housing located adjacent the second rack entrance.

In one or more embodiments, a device or information handling system includes an air flow generator that is able to generate air flow in different directions by activation of a button, a controller, or both. In one or more embodiments, a sensor measures air temperatures of air when the air flows in different directions, and an air flow direction is selected using the air temperature measurements.
