The electronic gaming machines includes: at least one processor; at least one persistent data store; at least one receiver to receive game data for storage in the at least one persistent data store; and a display device configured with a user interface to display: 1) a multi-faceted gaming surface comprising at least two gaming surface representations; and 2) a portion of the game data as a first set of 3D game components on one or more of the at least two gaming surface representations in accordance with a set of game rules for a given game, each one of the 3D game components having a symbol associated thereto.

Systems and methods for three dimensional games in gaming systems

A computer device and method for moving game components are provided. The computer device comprises: at least one data storage device to store game data for a game; a display device to display at least one three-dimensional game component of the game; at least one data capture device to collect player movement data, wherein the player movement data defines movement of a player of the game, wherein the data capture device includes a camera, a sensor or other data capture electronic hardware; and at least one processor configured to: 1) transform the player movement data into data defining game movement for the at least one game component; and 2) generating movement on the display device of the at least one game component using the data defining game movement; wherein the at least one data capture device is configured to collect player movement data associated with movement of the player's eyes.

A method of operating an electronic gaming machine includes generating an interactive game environment in accordance with game data, the interactive game environment having a viewing area may include a plurality of visible game components as a subset of the interactive game environment, displaying the viewing area with the plurality of visible game components, monitoring eye gaze of a player to collect player eye gaze data, determining a location of the eye gaze of the player relative to the viewing area using the player eye gaze data, and in response to the location of the eye gaze of the player relative to the viewing area, changing a resolution of a portion of the viewing area other than a portion of the viewing area corresponding to location of the eye gaze of the player on the viewing area. Enhanced electronic gaming machine with dynamic gaze display

A computer device and method for dynamically displaying at least one message to a player of a game are provided. The computer device may be an electronic gaming machine, and comprises a camera which can be used to collect data on the movement of a player of an electronic game. The movements of the player may then be analyzed and used to select message presentation rules based on player movement data. The message presentation rules may govern the presentation of new messages, the removal of old messages, or change the way a given message is presented.

A graphics processor generates an interactive game environment and defines a viewing area as its subset, the viewing area having visible game components. A display device displays the viewing area having the plurality of visible game components. At least one data capture camera device continuously monitors the player eye gaze to collect player eye gaze data. The game controller determines the location of the player's eye gaze relative to the viewing area and triggers a control command to the display controller. In response, the display controller controls the display device in real-time to provide a graphical animation effect displayed on the display device representative of a visual update to the visible game components in the viewing area.

An electronic gaming machine that includes a three-dimensional (3D) graphics processor to generate a 3D game environment for a game. A display controller defines a view window of the three-dimensional game environment. The view window defines a portion of the three-dimensional game environment. An electronic display device displays, via a display interface, the portion of the three-dimensional game environment defined by the view window using the 3D graphics processor. A player input device detects a player request interaction input to update the view window to navigate within the three dimensional game environment. In response to detection by the player input device, the display controller updates the view window based on the update action to define another portion of the three-dimensional game environment. The player can navigate throughout the 3D game environment using player request interaction input.

There is disclosed an electronic gaming machine that includes an electronic datastore storing game data for a given game, an electronic display, and one or more processors in communication with the at least one electronic datastore and the electronic display. The processors include a three-dimensional graphics processor. The processors are configured to: generate, with at least the three-dimensional graphics processor, a three-dimensional game surface in accordance with a set of game rules using the game data, the three-dimensional game surface for displaying game symbols thereon; present a view of the three-dimensional game surface such that a plurality of game symbols are viewable on the electronic display; and in response to a game event defined by the game rules: rotate the view of the three-dimensional game surface such that at least one additional game symbol becomes viewable on the electronic display; and integrate the at least one additional symbol into the given game in accordance with the game rules.

Disclosed is an electronic gaming machine that includes an electronic data store storing game data for a given game; an electronic 3D-enabled gaming display; and one or more processors. The processors are configured to: generate, with at least a three-dimensional graphics processor, game surfaces using the game data, each of the game surfaces for displaying at least one game symbol thereon; present a three-dimensional view of the game surfaces on the electronic display, the game surfaces arranged in layers such that a foreground game surface appears to be closer to the user than a background game surface; and in response to a game trigger event: remove at least one game symbol displayed on the foreground game surface from the game; and integrate at least one game symbol displayed on the background game surface into the game such that the integrated game symbol interacts with remaining game symbols displayed on the foreground game surface.

A computer-implemented method for enhancing game components in a gaming system using various three-dimensional enhancements. The three-dimensional enhancements may involve stacks of gaming components to provide and integrate additional symbols, multi-faceted gaming components, multi-faceted gaming surfaces running multiple games in parallel, items animating to simulate real-world physics, merging components, shapes to push up or down gaming components to create stacks, and so on.
