The aim of the invention is to achieve a door closer arrangement () where the force needed for opening the door () is not so substantial. The invention comprises a door closer (), a slide rail (), and an arm () that connects the door closer with the slide rail. The arrangement comprises also a second rail (), which is arranged to form a slide slope for the door closer ().

Door closer arrangement

A door closing arrangement includes a first door closer for closing a first door leaf, the first door closer being positioned on the opposite side of the first door leaf from the its hinge, and a second door closer for closing a second door leaf. The distal end of the pull arm of the first door closer moves along a guide member in a direction towards the second edge of the door frame during movement of the first door leaf from a fully open position to a partially closed position and moves along the guide member in a direction towards the first edge of the door frame during movement of the first door leaf from the partially closed position to a fully closed position. The distal end of the second pull arm move along the guide member during closing of the second door leaf at least initially in a direction towards the first edge of the door frame. A closure sequence control mechanism has a blocking condition in which it prevents movement of the distal end of the second pull arm towards the first edge of the door frame and thereby prevents closing of the second door leaf and has a releasing condition in which it permits movement of the distal end of the second pull arm towards the first edge of the door frame and thereby permits closing of the second door leaf. The closure sequence control mechanism changes from its blocking condition to its releasing position by application of a force directed from the first edge of the door frame towards the second edge of the door frame. A coupling mechanism is coupled to the distal end of the first pull arm when the first door leaf attains the partially closed position and converts movement of the distal end of the first pull arm towards the first edge of the door frame to a force directed towards the second edge of the door frame. A connection piece applies force from the coupling mechanism to the closure sequence control mechanism for changing the closure sequence control mechanism from its blocking condition to its releasing condition.

Door closing arrangement for controlling closure sequence of turnable double doors

A door closer includes a casing-like body enclosing a piston member, which is movable back and forth according to the movements of a door and is in cooperation with at least one closer spring, and a closer shaft and a pinion member connected thereto for transmitting the force of the movement of the door to the piston member. The pinion member is mounted on the closer shaft eccentrically with respect to its rolling curve. The piston member is casing-like and is provided with a toothing arranged at its inner surface. The rolling curve of the piston's toothing is at least substantially linear and is inclined relative to the axis of movement of the piston member. The pinion member is located inside the piston member in cooperation with the toothing of the piston member so that the force transmission moment of the pinion member is at its maximum in a position corresponding to the closed position of the door.

Door closer

An electromechanical door lock comprises a lock body (1), in which is a dead bolt (3) which can be dead locked in its protruding position and electrically withdrawn into the lock body, a latch (4) which is spring loaded to be protruding from the lock body and which centralizes the dead bolt in an opening in a striking plate (18) arranged for the door lock, and force transmission means (8-14) for transmitting force from an electrical operating device (7) to the dead bolt (3). Said latch (4) includes in a way known as such a body member (4c) moveable inside the lock body to which is jointed a wedge-shaped member (4a, 4b), protruding at least partly out from the lock body when the latch is in the protruding position, so that the latch (4) can be pressed inside the lock body when a force acts on said wedge-shaped member (4a, 4b) from either side of the lock body in the direction of the door opening or closing. In addition the lock body includes separate dead locking means (15-17) for the latch, arranged to prevent the latch to be moved inside the lock body. Said force transmission means (8-14) include a force transmission unit (11) moveable at least substantially in the longitudinal direction of the lock body, the transmission movement of which is arranged to release the dead locking of both the dead bolt (3) and the latch (4).
