A diving toy, or dive stick, that is connectable and extendable. The diving toy includes connectable and/or extendable portions that enables the length of the diving toy to be changed and enable it to be converted into a dive-ring, extended dive stick, larger dive-ring, dive-chain, or a multitude of other amusing shapes. In various games of play, one or more diving toys is thrown into a pool. A player retrieves the diving toy from the bottom of the pool or plays various games of play with the diving toy while submerged underwater.

Connectable and extendable diving stick

A toy glove is disclosed, and includes an inflatable user engagement portion and a fluid retention portion. The fluid retention portion is affixed to the user engagement portion and includes an attachment layer, an absorbent layer, and a retention layer. The absorbent layer is configured to absorb and retain fluid, and is compressible under an applied force so that fluid stored in the absorbent layer is displaced therefrom under pressure. The retention layer covers the absorbent layer and is semi-permeable so that the retention layer inhibits fluid at an equilibrium state from flowing therethrough and allows at least a portion of the fluid displaced from the absorbent layer under pressure to pass therethrough.

A diving stick of the type that, after being tossed into a swimming pool, sinks to the bottom while maintaining an upright posture so that it be can easily grasped by a diver. The stick includes a soft hollow shank designed to prevent accidental impalement.

Fabric diving stick

A squirting toy is comprised of a cylindrical housing and a piston that slides within to force water into or out of the housing via a hole therein. The housing is encased within a shell creating a water impervious volume sufficient for the toy to float in water. The shell is soft, so that the gun is not a safety hazard when left floating in a swimming pool. The squirting toy can further include bellows that can provide safety benefits as well as other benefits.
