Some embodiments of the current disclosure are directed toward physiological monitoring of patients, and more particularly, systems, devices and methods for physiological monitoring of patients with a continuous or near-continuous transmission and analysis of monitored physiological data during the monitoring process. In some embodiments, a physiological patient monitoring system is provided which includes a physiological monitoring device which comprises a housing disposed on a patch, and the patch is configured for removable attachment to or proximate the skin of a patient, the housing including at least one memory. Antenna disposed on the housing transmit radio-frequency (RF) waves towards a targeted portion of an internal tissue of the patient and receive reflected RF waves from the internal tissue. RF circuitry in communication with the at least one memory perform an RF-based measurement of a lung fluid level of the patient during a predetermined time period.

Systems, devices and methods for physiological monitoring of patients

Some embodiments of the current disclosure are directed toward cardiac diagnosis and/or arrhythmia monitoring, and more particularly, systems, devices and methods for arrhythmia monitoring with a trained classifier including at least one neural network. In some embodiments, an external heart monitoring device may include a plurality ECG electrodes to sense surface ECG activity, ECG processing circuitry to process the surface ECG activity to provide at least one ECG signal, a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising a rhythm change classifier comprising at least one neural network, and at least one processor to receive the ECG signal(s), detect with the rhythm change classifier time data corresponding to a predetermined rhythm change in the ECG signal(s), determine based on the detected time data at least one ECG signal portion corresponding to the predetermined rhythm change, and transmit the at least one determined ECG signal portion to a remote computer system.

Systems, devices, and methods for cardiac diagnosis and/or monitoring

A stable affixation system for dental implantation includes a fixation tray having, for rapid placement, a housing defining a chamber whose inner surface is configured to house a flowable or malleable material and be placed over one or more teeth during guided dental implantation surgery. A central portion not configured to flex is situated between housing side walls. Each such side wall has an upper side portion and a lower side portion. Without the lock a squeezing force on the upper side portions flexes the lower side portions outward. The lock urges the upper side portions outward so as to flex the lower side portions inward. The lock reduces or eliminates freedom of movement of the tray. The system allows rapid removal and is sturdy enough to withstand forces including from various angles and leverage. The central portion may hold registration elements.

A stable affixation system for dental implantation includes a fixation tray having, for rapid placement, a housing defining a chamber whose inner surface is configured to house a flowable or malleable material and be placed over one or more teeth during guided dental implantation surgery. Housing side walls are joined to a cross member that has a flexion region on each side of the housing, each side wall having an upper side portion and a lower side portion. Without the lock a squeezing force on the upper side portions flexes the lower side portions outward. The lock urges the upper side portions outward so as to flex the lower side portions inward, thereby urging the material, once hardened, against the teeth. A stable affixation system for dental implantation includes a fixation tray having, for rapid placement, a housing defining a chamber whose inner surface is configured to house a flowable or malleable material (configured to harden) and be placed over one or more teeth during guided dental implantation surgery. A mechanism for urging the material against the teeth may comprise side walls having an inwardly directed extra flexible arm extension or an inwardly directed step. A lock mechanism may comprise a wedge positioned over the fixation tray to reduce or eliminate freedom of movement of the tray. For rapid removal, the system may include mechanisms (for example an element rotating inside the tray) for applying force on the tray and material and for ensuring that the material adheres more strongly to the tray than to the teeth. The system is sturdy enough to withstand forces including from various angles and leverage.

Diagnostic apparatus () includes an antenna, which is configured to direct radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic waves into a living body and to generate signals responsively to the waves that are scattered from within the body. Processing circuitry () is configured to process the signals so as to locate a feature in a blood vessel in the body.

A monitoring unit is presented for use in monitoring a behavior of at least a part of a physical object. The monitoring unit comprises: a data input module configured for receiving measured data indicative of a behavior of at least a part of the physical object in a certain coordinate system associated with a predetermined sensing surface; and a digital signal processor configured and operable to be responsive to said measured data for transforming the measured data into an approximate representation of said at least portion of the physical object into a virtual coordinate system such that the transformation maintains a positional relationship between virtual points and corresponding portions within said at least part of the physical object. This technique enables further formatting of said approximate representation into a predetermined data input format of a certain electronic device.

Device and method for monitoring the object's behavior

A method and apparatus are provided for determining and tracking location of a metallic object in a living body, and then directing a second modality such as ultrasound waves to the determined location. The metal detector may be a radar detector adapted to operate on a living body. The adaption may include disposing a transfer material having electromagnetic properties similar to the body between the radar detector and the living body, ECG gating the radar detector, and/or employing an optimal estimator with a model of expected stent movement in a living body. Applications include determination of extent of in-stent restenosis, performing therapeutic thrombolysis, or determining operational features of a metallic implant.
