Cleavable surfactants of formula (I) having a total hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of between 3 and 18 and wherein A is a group capable of releasing a flavor or fragrance aldehyde of formula (R)CHO or a flavor or fragrance ketone of formula (R)(R)CO and is of formula wherein the wavy line indicates the location of the bond between L and A; Rand Rrepresent a hydrogen atom or a saturated or unsaturated C-Chydrocarbon group, provided that at least one of the Ror Rgroups has 6 consecutive carbon atoms and that both Rand Rtaken together comprise a maximum of 18 carbon atoms; and L is a linear, branched or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated Cto Chydrocarbon group. These surfactants solubilize and/or stabilize flavor and fragrance aldehydes and ketones in an aqueous environment and at the same time to control their release by hydrolysis.

The present invention relates to hydrogel beads having liquid crystalline structured phase. Process for preparing crystalline hydrogel beads is also an object of the invention. Perfuming compositions and consumer products comprising or consisting of said crystalline beads, in particular perfumed consumer products in the form of a personal care products or flavoured products, are also part of the invention.

Hydrogel beads

The present invention relates to the field of liquid solubilizing systems. More specifically, the present invention relates to a ringing gel composition, one that is a self-thickened composition having a viscoelastic behavior and a viscosity comprised between 0.1 and 1000 Pa&#xb7;s at 20&#xb0; C. at 0.01 sshear rate. The ringing gel has an aqueous phase, a surfactant system of one or more non-ionic surfactant(s), a linker and an oil phase that includes a hydrophobic active ingredient such as a perfume. Consumer products that contain the ringing gel composition, such as a self-thickened liquid laundry scent booster are also part of the present invention.

The present invention provides a perfuming composition that is free of ethanol and that is in the form of a transparent, clear microemulsion that contains a fragrance at a concentration of 0.5 to 50% by weight; a solvent at a concentration of 1 to 36% by weight; a non-ionic surfactant at a concentration of 1 to 35% by weight; an ionic surfactant at a concentration of 0 to 12% by weight, a cooling hydrotrope at a concentration of 0.01 to 12% by weight and water. Said microemulsions benefit from the presence of a cooling hydrotrope which allows lowering the amount of surfactant needed and provides a cooling effect.
