The present disclosure provides a method of single ring marking of an optical fiber. The method includes a first step of marking a first single ring marking of the optical fiber. In addition, the method includes a second step of marking a second single ring marking of the optical fiber. Further, the present disclosure provides a method of double ring marking of an optical fiber. Furthermore, the method includes a first step of marking a first ring marking, a second step of marking a second ring marking and a third step of marking a third ring marking.

Method of ring marking of an optical fiber and optical fiber thereof

The present disclosure provides an optical fibre ribbon. The optical fibre ribbon includes a plurality of optical fibres. The plurality of optical fibres is in range of about 4 to 12. In addition, each of the plurality of optical fibres is characterized by diameter. Further, the optical fibre ribbon has a pitch d. Furthermore, the optical fibre ribbon is compatible with standard 250 micron optical fibre for fusion splicing. Also, the optical fibre ribbon is characterized by planarity. Also, the optical fibre ribbon is characterized by a cured coating. Also, the cured coating has characteristic of a glass transition temperature. Also, the glass transition temperature facilitates change in state of the optical fibre ribbon from hard brittle state to soft rubbery state.

Flexible optical fiber ribbon

The present disclosure provides a matrix material for a rollable optical fibre ribbon. The rollable optical fibre ribbon includes a plurality of optical fibres and the matrix material. In addition, each of the plurality of optical fibres is placed parallel to other optical fibres of the plurality of optical fibres. Further, the matrix material joins the plurality of optical fibres. Furthermore, the matrix material has different glass transition temperature at different pressures.

The present disclosure provides a method for stacking of a plurality of optical fibre ribbons (). The plurality of optical fibre ribbons () is defined by a top surface (S) and a bottom surface (S). The top surface (S) and bottom surface (S) are defined by a plurality of elevated regions and a plurality of groove regions. The method for stacking of the plurality of optical fibre ribbons () includes arranging the plurality of optical fibre ribbons () over each other such that the plurality of elevated regions of each of the plurality of optical fibre ribbons fits over the plurality of groove regions of an adjacent optical fibre ribbon of the plurality of optical fibre ribbons (). In addition, arrangement of the plurality of optical fibre ribbons forms an optical fibre ribbon stack ().

Optical fibre ribbon and optical fibre cables thereof

The present disclosure provides an optical fiber cable. The optical fiber cable includes at least one optical fiber ribbon stack. In addition, the at least one optical fiber ribbon stack includes a plurality of stacked ribbons. Further, each ribbon of the plurality of stacked ribbons includes a plurality of optical fibers. The plurality of optical fibers includes edge fibers. The edge fibers are defined as the at least one optical fiber having a mach number of at most 7.2 disposed at a first end and a second end of a first ribbon and a last ribbon of the plurality of stacked ribbons.

The present disclosure provides an optical waveguide cable. The optical waveguide cable includes one or more optical waveguide bands positioned substantially along a longitudinal axis of the optical waveguide cable. Further, the optical waveguide cable includes a plurality of cylindrical enclosure substantially concentric to the longitudinal axis of the optical waveguide cable. The plurality of cylindrical enclosure includes a predefined cylindrical enclosure. Furthermore, the one or more optical waveguide bands include a plurality of light transmission elements. Moreover, the density of the predefined cylindrical enclosure is at most 0.935 gram per cubic centimeter. Also, the optical waveguide cable has a waveguide area factor about 44%. The one or more optical waveguide bands are coupled longitudinally with the predefined cylindrical enclosure. The predefined cylindrical enclosure is at a predefined diagonal distance of about 0.9 millimeter from the one or more optical waveguide bands.

The present disclosure provides a rollable optical fiber ribbon. The rollable optical fiber ribbon includes a plurality of optical fibers positioned along a longitudinal axis of the rollable optical fiber ribbon. In addition, the rollable optical fiber ribbon includes a matrix material covering the plurality of optical fibers. Each of the plurality of optical fibers is placed adjacent to other optical fiber of the plurality of optical fibers. Each of the plurality of optical fibers with a diameter of about 210&#xb1;5 micron is spaced at a pitch in a range of about 250 microns to 255 microns. The rollable optical fiber ribbon is corrugated from a first side and a second side to enable rolling of the rollable optical fiber ribbon in circular fashion.

The present disclosure provides an optical fiber cable. The optical fiber cable includes a plurality of optical fibers lying substantially along a longitudinal axis of the optical fiber cable. Further, the optical fiber cable includes a first layer surrounding the plurality of optical fibers. Furthermore, the optical fiber cable includes a second layer surrounding the first layer. Furthermore, the optical fiber cable includes a third layer surrounding the second layer. Moreover, the optical fiber cable includes a fourth layer surrounding the third layer. The first layer is a water blocking tape. The second layer is a buffer tube layer made of polyethylene material and foamed with master batch. The third layer is a water blocking tape. The fourth layer is a sheath made of polyethylene material. Moreover, the fourth layer has a plurality of strength members embedded inside the fourth layer.

The present disclosure provides a rollable optical fiber ribbon. The rollable optical fiber ribbon includes a plurality of optical fibers positioned along a longitudinal axis of the rollable optical fiber ribbon. In addition, the rollable optical fiber ribbon includes a matrix material covering the plurality of optical fibers to provide flexibility to the rollable optical fiber ribbon. Further, the rollable optical fiber ribbon includes at least one colour line marking on the rollable optical fiber ribbon along the longitudinal axis of the rollable optical fiber ribbon.

The present disclosure provides an optical waveguide cable. The optical waveguide cable includes one or more optical waveguide bands positioned substantially along a longitudinal axis of the optical waveguide cable. The optical waveguide cable includes one or more layers substantially concentric to the longitudinal axis of the optical waveguide cable. The one or more layers include a cylindrical enclosure. The one or more optical waveguide bands include a plurality of light transmission elements. The density of the cylindrical enclosure is at most 0.935 gram per cubic centimeter. The optical waveguide cable has a waveguide factor of about 44%. The one or more optical waveguide bands are coupled longitudinally with the cylindrical enclosure.
