The invention relates to vacuum equipment for a fiber web machine. The vacuum equipment includes a frame () arranged to be supported to the fiber web machine. A dewatering member for a paper or board machine has a composite body () and a hard surface layer (). The composite body () is manufactured in a pultrusion process.
