A wireless communication network transfers a data message to a User Equipment (UE). A wireless network control system registers the UE, and in response, transfers a UE registration notice for the UE and the wireless network control system to a wireless network database system. The wireless network database system receives the UE registration notice, and in response, transfers the UE registration notice to a message center. The message center receives the UE registration notice. The message center receives the data message for the UE, and in response, transfers the data message to the wireless network control system based on the UE registration notice. The wireless network control system receives the data message, and in response, transfers the data message to the UE.

Accelerated user data messaging in a wireless communication network

Described herein is a node of a telecommunications network configured to determine that a primary index for data repositories of the telecommunications network is operating in a fail-open mode and, in response, provide a request received by the node to substantially all data repositories referred to by the primary index. The node is further configured to receive a response from one of the data repositories and, based at least in part on the response, build a secondary index mapping data repositories to subscriber identifiers. When a further request is received by the node in fail-open mode, the node may refer to the secondary index first and, if the subscriber identifier from the further request is not present in the secondary index, provide the further request to substantially all data repositories referred to by the primary index.

Fail-open operation for data repository indices

A subscriber information entity of a home wireless carrier network may receive an authentication request for a user device from a network element of a partner wireless carrier network. The authentication request may include a network element identifier of the network element. An authentication response for the authentication request is then sent to the network element of the partner wireless carrier network. Further, the network element identifier of the network element is stored in a subscriber profile for the user device. A registration request for the user device is then received from a particular network element of a wireless carrier network, in which the registration request includes a corresponding network element identifier of the particular network element. A registration response to the particular network element of the wireless carrier network may be sent when the corresponding network element identifier matches the network element identifier.
