A motor vehicle seat having an air supply device by means of which an air flow can be established through a ventilation layer of the cushion of the seat in order to ventilate the seat and/or in order to heat the seat. An air outflow opening of the air supply device is arranged in the upper region of the seat and via which the head, shoulder and neck region of the seat occupant can be acted upon by an air flow. The air supply device is assigned a fan. In order to provide a motor vehicle seat with an air supply device which can be used more universally, the fan can be supplied with air from the ventilation layer of the cushion of the seat in order to generate the air flow for the head, shoulder and neck region of the seat occupant.

Motor vehicle seat having an air supply device

A wind protection device for an open motor vehicle includes a passenger cell that has at least one car seat with a backrest. There is on a level with the top area of the backrest at least one air outflow opening of an air supply system. Thereby, the head, shoulder and neck area of the seat occupant is impinged on with an air stream that can be regulated to avoid an undesired air draft. The air supply system has at least one sensor to measure a parameter value, whereby the air stream, issuing from the air outflow opening, is regulated as a function of the parameter value by way of a regulating unit.

Wind protection device for an open motor vehicle

A windbreak device is provided for an open motor vehicle, in whose passenger cell at least one vehicle seat having a backrest and associated head restraint is arranged. Air outflow openings of the air-distributing device are provided level with an upper region of the backrest in order to avoid undesirable draughts for the vehicle occupant. The air-distributing device is integrated in the backrest and is supported directly by the latter.

Windbreak device for an open motor vehicle

An automobile seat for a convertible motor vehicle has a seat back with an appropriate headrest. At least one air outflow opening of an air supply system is arranged in an upper area of the seat back in order to reduce undesirable drafts. At least one additional air outflow opening of the air supply system is provided in the seat surface facing the seat occupant for seat ventilation and/or seat heating purposes.

Automobile seat

A motor vehicle seat for an open-top motor vehicle has a seat cushion part and a backrest which is provided with a pertaining headrest. In an upper area of the backrest, for reducing undesirable draft phenomena for a seat occupant, at least one air outflow device which has an assigned air outflow nozzle of an air supply device is arranged. The air outflow device is vertically adjustable with respect to the backrest and can be secured in an adjusted vertical position.

Motor vehicle seat

A head restraint for a vehicle seat has a holding element which can be inserted into a seat backrest in a manner allowing it to be displaced vertically. A padding support is arranged on the holding element which holds a padded headrest intended for supporting the head. A pivoting device is arranged between the holding element and padding support and is intended for setting the inclination of the padded headrest about a rotational axis orientated transversely to the seat depth. In order to provide a head restraint which is anatomically shaped and can be set in height and inclination in such a manner that in every position it forms a continuation of the contour of the seat occupant's back, the padded headrest has a padded tongue which is pulled out downwards over the padding support for the purpose of supporting the back of the neck. The contour of the front surface of the padded headrest and padded tongue reproduces the profile of the back of the head and back of the neck. The pivoting device is designed so that the rotational axis of the padded headrest lies outside the head-restraint structure and, in all possible vertical settings of the head restraint, always lies on the level backrest surface.

Head restraint for a vehicle seat

A backrest for a vehicle seat, having a head restraint and backrest padding, and having a supporting element which is intended for the seat occupant's back and, is compliant, at least in the upper backrest region, in such a manner that the seat occupant's back is able to shift rearwards relative to the head restraint in the event of a rear-end collision of the vehicle. The supporting element is formed by a shaped cushion that is integrated in the backrest padding in the upper backrest region, and filled with a gaseous medium, in particular air. In the event of a collision this supporting element can suddenly be deflated.

Backrest for a vehicle seat

A vehicle seat with a contour adjustment mechanism and control for the lordosis region of the seatback portion including at least two air cushions arranged one above another, the control including an operating unit and switching assembly for changing air pressure in the two air cushions. Specifically, two sets of operative switches are provided, one set to signal the operating unit to produce a change of the air pressure ratio between the two air cushions and the other set to simultaneously change the air pressure in the two cushions without changing the current pressure ratio.

Contour adjustable vehicle seat

A head restraint for a vehicle seat which has a seat back or backrest, having a head cushion and a retaining device. The retaining device secures the head cushion pivotably to the backrest. The retaining device is designed such that the head cushion can be pivoted between an upper functional position and a lower-lying rest or non-functional position. For the purpose of simplifying the retaining device in terms of design and manufacture, the head cushion and retaining device are connected to each other via a pivot which is aligned transversely with respect to the backrest front surface and passes eccentrically through the plane of symmetry of the head cushion.

Head restraint

A back seat arrangement for passenger compartments, especially of motor vehicles, has a back seat bench which can be folded up into an upright position about a pivot axis arranged in its front region, a backrest, which can be tilted forwards into a flat position about a pivot axis arranged in its lower region, at least one rear belt buckle, which can be fixedly connected to the bodywork of the motor vehicle, and a back seat section arranged in the abutment region between the back seat bench and the backrest which serves for the positioning of the at least one rear belt buckle. The back seat section arranged in the abutment region between the back seat bench and the backrest is an intermediate padded part, extending at least in sections into the width of the seat, secured on the bodywork and separate from the back seat bench and the backrest, which holds the at least one rear belt buckle in the operating position.
