A system for automated oven configuration. The system includes a meal card comprising a radio-frequency identification, RFID, tag that is configured to identify a type of meal, cooking/heating time and a temperature setting. The system further includes an oven comprising an RFID reader that is configured to read the RFID tag to determine the type of meal, cooking/heating time and the temperature setting. The system also includes a central programming unit configured to automatically set the temperature and cooking/heating time in the oven based on the information received by the RFID tag and RFID reader.

Automated oven configuration

An aircraft cabin equipment system comprises a light fitting for illuminating an aircraft cabin by emitting visible light. The light fitting is configured to broadcast a time signal by modulating an intensity of the emitted visible light. The aircraft cabin equipment system comprises an aircraft cabin device configured to detect visible light emitted by the light fitting and to determine the time signal from the detected visible light.

Aircraft cabin equipment using visible light communication

A method is provided for establishing secure network communication for a wireless network module of a battery-free insert. The method includes establishing communication with a low security module of an access point of a secure network, wherein a timestamp is not used to establish the communication with the low security module, obtaining a timestamp from the low security module, discontinuing communication with the low security module, and sending a request to a high security module to establish communication with the high security module of the access point. The request includes the timestamp. Communication is established with the high security module using the timestamp for establishing high security communication with the secure network.

Establishment of battery-free insert access to secure network

A system for beverage management. The system includes at least one receptacle for receiving a beverage, said receptacle comprising at least one identification means that is configured to identify the type of beverage provided in the at least one receptacle. The system further comprises a trolley comprising at least one identification reader that is configured to read the identification means to determine the beverage present in the at least one receptacle, said trolley further comprising a weight sensor configured to determine the weight of the at least one receptacle. The system further includes a central programming unit configured to determine if the beverage within the at least one receptacle is below a pre-determined volume threshold based on the identity of the beverage and the weight value.

Beverage management system

An aircraft tray table retention assembly may include a seat magnetic component installed within a rear bezel of an aircraft seat, and a tray table magnetic component installed within an aircraft tray table. The aircraft tray table may be coupled to the aircraft seat via at least one of one or more hinges or a set of rails, and may be configured to actuate between a stowed position and a deployed position via the at least one of one or more hinges or a set of rails. The tray table magnetic component may be configured to engage the seat magnetic component when the aircraft tray table is in the stowed position. The aircraft tray table retention assembly may include a tray magnetic component configured to engage the tray table magnetic component when the aircraft tray table is in the deployed position.
