A loudspeaker damping assembly can mechanically damp or isolate a loudspeaker transducer from a mounting surface. The damping assembly can include a loudspeaker housing or frame that receives a loudspeaker transducer, and a flexible, deformable, or conformable flange damper extending outward from an edge of the loudspeaker housing. The flange damper can be positioned against a loudspeaker wall or ceiling mounting surface. The damping assembly optionally includes a clamp damper opposite the flange damper, or a peripheral edge damper at an outer perimeter edge of the loudspeaker housing.
