In some implementations, a device may receive historical content data indicating historical characteristics associated with one or more groups of content. The device may determine, based on the historical content data, one or more characteristics associated with a time period. The device may determine, based on the one or more characteristics, a new group of content associated with the time period. The device may generate a display element for accessing content included in the new group of content during the time period.

Systems and methods for content discovery by automatic organization of collections or rails

Disclosed is a system for generating personalized recommendations based on dynamic and customized content selections and modeling of the content selections. The system may receive a request with an identifier and a query, and may obtain a particular recommendation configuration based the identifier and the query. The system may retrieve a set of content that satisfies the query and that is identified with at least one content prioritization parameter specified in the particular recommendation configuration, may generate a set of models of one or more model types that model relevance between the set of content and a different event specified in the particular recommendation configuration, and may compute a score for each content in each model based on the modeled relevance. The system may present recommended content in a different order than the set of content based on aggregate scores compiled for each content from the set of models.

Systems and methods for generating scalable personalized recommendations based on dynamic and customized content selections and modeling of the content selections

An exemplary system and method are directed to processing dial strings. A dial plan may be parsed into a plurality of expressions, each including at least one expression element. A rule associated the at least one expression element may be identified and added to an array of a finite state machine. Upon receiving a digit input, a match result indicating whether the digit input matched a corresponding expression element of each expression is determined based on the applicable rule. Expressions may be removed from consideration based on the match result. Digit inputs may continue to be received and match results may be determined based on successive expressions until either a match is determined or no further expressions are available for consideration. The match status may be reported based on the match result.

Scalable and flexible processing of digit maps and dial strings

A network device may receive two different sets of authentication information from a user device over a ZigBee network. The network device may authenticate the user device based on the received two different sets of authentication information and permit, in response to authenticating the user device, the user device to obtain a service by exchanging information between the network device and the user device over the ZigBee network.

The method may include receiving first user data associated with one or more contents for a first predetermined time period and second user data associated with the one or more contents for a second predetermined time period. A system includes a communications device configured to selectively allow communications in a plurality of communications protocols, and a router configured to receive a communications request from a user. The router may determine a preferred communications protocol from the plurality of communications protocols, based on at least a portion of the received communications request.

Least cost routing

An approach for providing custom call waiting with media messaging is disclosed. A request is received from a first voice station to establish a voice communication session with a called party station. A detection is made that the called party station is currently in communication with a second voice station. A content designated from a call-waiting condition for presentation to a caller is retrieved. The content to either the first voice station or the second voice station is retrieved in response to a user input from the called party device.
