The present invention provides a device () for locking and unlocking an elongate tubular element (), the device comprising: a. A braided or knitted tubular locking sleeve () that has a first end () and a second end (), and that has an inlet orifice () for allowing said elongate tubular element () into it, and an outlet orifice () for allowing said elongate tubular element () out of it; b. Fastener means () for fastening said locking sleeve () to a support (); and c. Tensioner means () for tensioning said locking sleeve () along a substantially rectilinear path (L) making it possible to lock said elongate tubular element () inside said locking sleeve () between said inlet orifice () and said outlet orifice (), said tensioner means () being deactivatable manually, and/or by using deactivation means (), for unlocking said elongate tubular element () to enable it to slide inside the internal volume of the locking sleeve () and through said inlet orifice () and said outlet orifice ().

The invention relates to an operating drape formed by an impermeable web that has a window () for access to the operating site, characterized in that the web consists of two impermeable sheets () held together, one along the extension of the other, in a sealed manner by an adhesive that allows the sheets to be separated by peeling and in that the window () is shared between the two sheets. The invention applies in particular to operating drapes used in surgery.

According to the invention, the spring-effect deformation capacity of the valve () essentially relates to the plug (Sa) and to an intermediate valve portion () between the plug (Sa) and a tubular gap (). The valve () and the fixed end piece () are conformed so that the valve can be permanently tightened on the fixed end piece without forming a significant dead volume in said gap independently from the deformation of the valve, and so that the valve can be maintained on the fixed end piece () without any flexion under the action of the mobile end piece. The slot () of the valve includes a moulded proximal slot (A) followed by a pierced distal slot (B) for communication between the moulded slot and said gap when the slot is open. A device for introducing a catheter guide wire into a vessel of a patient has a connector and a straightener for a J-shaped end of the guide wire, the connector having an axial bore, and its distal end and proximal end permitting a connection of the Luer type to a needle and to a syringe, respectively. The connector supports, on its inside, a sealing valve equipped with a slit, and the axial bore has, in its portion between the sealing valve and the distal end of the connector, a leaktight mating surface, the shape of which is such that it permits liquid-tight mating with the outer surface of the distal end of the straightener, when the latter is introduced into the connector via the sealing valve.

A sheath for containing and manipulating of a single-use laryngoscope blade is constituted by a closed outer bag (S) enabling its content to be sterilized and kept sterile, and an inner sheath (G) containing the blade between a closed end of the sheath and an open end of the sheath, the sheath being thin and tear-resistant so as to enable the blade to be mounted on the handle and separated therefrom without removing the sheath and so that the sheath can be turned inside out. The invention is applicable to packaging laryngoscope blades.

A cock has an indexable rotating key. Indexing is achieved by a raised element on a shaped base of a housing of a barrel, and a ring which is formed at the end of the key and which is elastically deformable in a transverse plane. The raised element and ring form stubs and notches which cooperate to determine key blocking positions when the key is being rotated. The cock is suitable for use with medical instruments.
