Systems and methods for improvement in bus communications with daisy-chained connected devices are described herein. In some embodiments, a bus communication system comprises a master chain controller, a first peripheral device, and a second peripheral device. A first communication bus couples a master interface port of the master chain controller to a slave interface port of the first peripheral device, and a second communication bus couples a master interface port of the first peripheral device to a slave interface port of the second peripheral device. The first communication device is configured to receive a communication packet via the first communication bus and to send a copy of the communication packet to the second peripheral device during transmission of the communication packet to the first peripheral device. The first communication device is also configured to send an idle state signal to the master chain controller.

Systems and methods for device communications

Systems and methods are described for providing wireless power. In some embodiments, a method for wireless power transmission comprises sending, via an antenna of a first wireless power receiver client and during a first tone time block, a beacon signal to a wireless power transmission system. During a first power tick time block of a plurality of power tick time blocks, a wireless power signal is received from an antenna array of the wireless power transmission system. When not sending the beacon signal and when not receiving the wireless power signal, a low power mode is entered that is configured to consume less power than a power consumed by the first wireless power receiver during either the sending of the beacon signal or the receiving of the wireless power signal.

Aspects of the present disclosure include methods and systems for assessing alignment of a light source with a flow stream. Methods according to certain embodiments include detecting first and second light signals along a vertical axis of the a light irradiated flow stream and calculating a differential signal amplitude between the first light signal and second light signal to assess the alignment of the light source with the flow stream. Provided herein are systems and methods for improving yield of sorted particles. In one embodiment, for example, there is provided a system including: (a) a flow cytometer to analyze a sample, wherein the flow cytometer provides a parameter plot based on the analysis of the sample; (b) a user-interface, wherein a user can define a coincidence acceptance gate in the parameter plot, and wherein the coincidence acceptance gate identities a non-target particle population in the sample that may be accepted with a target particle in a subsequent sort analysis; and (c) a sort analysis system to sort particles within the sample, while accepting particles defined by coincidence acceptance gate.
