Methods and systems of configuring resources are described. A processor may receive a request to employ a set of resources to perform a task. The processor may display a topology diagram that includes image objects representing the requested resources and input objects associated with configurable resources. The processor may receive parameter values entered via the input objects of the topology diagram displayed on the user interface. The processor may validate that the set of parameter values is acceptable. The processor may, in response to the validating, configure the at least one configurable resource with the set of parameter values. The processor may output a notification indicating that the requested set of resources configured with the set of parameter values is capable of performing the task.

Apparatuses, methods, systems, and program products are disclosed for controller-based dynamic routing in a software defined network environment. A gateway module receives a routing protocol control packet at a virtual gateway of a software defined network ('SDN'). The SDN includes one or more virtual gateways that connect the SDN to one or more external networks. A routing control module forwards the received routing protocol control packet to a controller for the SDN. The SDN controller updates a routing information base for the SDN based on the received routing protocol control packet. An update module sends at least a portion of the routing information base to one or more external routers connected to the SDN.

Controller-based dynamic routing in a software defined network environment

According to one embodiment, a method includes informing a second peer about a security issue in one or more secure transmission control protocol/user datagram protocol (TCP/UDP) using a first peer of the one or more TCP/UDP sessions. The method also includes performing at least one action at the first peer in response to detecting the security issue. The at least one action resolves the security issue, avoids the security issue, or resolves and avoids the security issue. Also, the at least one action includes informing, via a socket call or an extension of a socket call on the one or more TCP/UDP sessions, one or more applications operating on the second peer to limit information exchange based on a severity of the security issue. Other systems, methods, and computer program products are described in accordance with more embodiments.

Security level and status exchange between TCP/UDP client(s) and server(s) for secure transactions

According to one embodiment, a system includes a processor and logic integrated with and/or executable by the processor, the logic being configured to identify a security issue affecting a first peer in one or more secure transmission control protocol/user datagram protocol (TCR/UDP) sessions, inform a second peer about the security issue using the first peer of the one or more TCP/UDP sessions, and perform at least one action in response to identifying and/or being informed about the security issue. In another embodiment, a method for providing a secure TCP/UDP session includes identifying a security issue affecting a first peer in one or more TCP/UDP sessions, informing a second peer about the security issue using the first peer of the one or more TCP/UDP sessions, and performing at least one action in response to identifying and/or being informed about the security issue.
