The present invention relates to a melt composite comprising one or more curcuminoids and a carrier selected from rice bran extract, mannitol, maltodextrin and mixtures thereof. The invention also provides a process for preparation of the melt composite, wherein the mixture of curcuminoids, rice bran extract, mannitol, maltodextrin and mixture thereof may be subjected to controlled conditions of heating and granulation. The melt composite may also be optionally comprised of one more excipient suitable for use for human consumption. Curcuminoid composites can be formulated in suitable solid, liquid or semisolid compositions. Curcuminoid composites and the compositions thereof, exhibit rapid dissolution and enhanced bioavailability.

The present invention relates to solid oral pharmaceutical compositions comprising amorphous dapagliflozin. The invention further relates to a process for the preparation of the said pharmaceutical compositions. The said compositions are administered orally for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. The said compositions provide the desired immediate release of dapagliflozin and were found to be stable under accelerated conditions.

The present invention provides extended release pharmaceutical compositions structured for once a day administration comprising skeletal muscle relaxant such as cyclobenzaprine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof that extends the release of the drug under in-vitro conditions for at least 8 to 12 hours. The invention also provides process for the preparation of such structured compositions.
