Systems and methods provide visualization of the projected results of an aesthetic treatment, such as facial skin therapy, using an image display device and a plurality of stored transformation instructions. The system receives an input image of a subject, such as a recent portrait photograph. The system determines the aesthetic treatment to apply, retrieves the associated transformation instructions, and transforms the input image with the transformation instructions to produce a modified image that represents changes to the subject's face that are expected to occur after the selected treatment. The system may include or access a virtual treatment visualization engine that stores transformation parameters describing changes to make to the input image based on the selected treatment and other input parameters. The transformation parameters may be obtained from a model that received the selected treatment. The system may determine similarities of the subject to the model.

System and method for virtual treatments based on aesthetic procedures

A method and system for enhancing computer peripheral safety is provided. In accordance with various aspects of the present invention, the exemplary method and system are configured to monitor and/or isolate alternating current (A.C.) supplies with and/or from any peripheral subsystems or devices. An exemplary method and system comprises an A.C. supply, a host computer system, and a peripheral subsystem or device connected to the host computer system, such as an ultrasound imaging and/or therapy peripheral, and an isolation subsystem configured for monitoring and/or isolating the A.C. supply from the peripheral subsystem or device. In accordance with other exemplary embodiments, an isolation subsystem can comprises a wireless or other safe/isolated electrical link for connecting a patient contact device, and/or a verification link or other verification mechanisms configured between an isolation transformer and host computer to monitor or observe usage to power the host computer and peripheral subsystem.

Virtual assistant systems ('VAs') operate on a distributed and interconnected network, such as a hierarchy or mesh, of virtual assistant platforms ('VAPs'). VAs communicate with a user via an electronic device, and can communicate with other devices, software programs, and other VAs. VAs include intelligent agents configured to perform particular tasks. The VAP includes an execution environment that may provide an interface between the VA and the electronic device, and may further provide a framework of services for implementing, maintaining, and executing the intelligent agents. A VA may be configured to participate in a group VA in which knowledge and tasks can be shared and cooperatively executed. Cooperative execution can include distributing subtasks among VAs in the group VA, the subtasks together forming the task. Group VAs can share information with each other, and may further inter-network by accessing a common network outside the VAP, such as a social network.

A system and method for improved imaging is disclosed. An exemplary system provides a peripheral ultrasound system connected to a host computer with a plug-and-play interface such as a USB. An exemplary system utilizes a dedicated graphics processing unit such as a graphics card to analyze data obtained from a region of interest to produce an image on one or more output units for the user's viewing. Based on the image displayed on the output units, the user can determine the velocity of the moving tissue and fluid. The system of the present invention can be used to produce a Doppler color flow map or for power Doppler imaging.

The peripheral ultrasound imaging system includes an ultrasound probe, an electronic apparatus capable of sending and receiving signals to and from the ultrasound probe, a hardware link connecting the electronic apparatus to a personal computer or computer network, and a software program for controlling the ultrasound probe, the electronic apparatus, and the hardware link. The ultrasound probe is connected to the electronic apparatus and the electronic apparatus is in turn connected to a personal computing device or a computer network.
