A vehicle window with an integrated sensor module, includes a pane main body having a cutout, a sensor module designed as a prefabricated assembly with a module housing, which forms a hollow space, in which at least one sensor is accommodated, wherein the module housing forming the hollow space is inserted into the cutout and is fastened on the pane main body, wherein, together, an outer surface of the module housing and an outer surface of the pane main body form an outer surface of the vehicle window.

A method for producing a polymeric vehicle add-on part having a decorative element is presented. According to one aspect, the method includes provision of a first polymeric material phase and transfer of a decorative element from a carrier film onto a first surface of the first polymeric material phase by hot stamping using a punch. A second polymeric material phase is then applied on the first surface of the first polymeric material phase so to arrange the decorative element between the first polymeric material phase and the second polymeric material phase. According to another aspect, the first polymeric material phase or the second polymeric material phase is transparent.

Method for producing a plastic vehicle add-on part

A method for producing a vehicle plastic pane having a heating function is presented. The method includes: the provisioning of a one- or two-component, semi-transparent, polymeric pane base body; the coating of the pane base body with a protective coating; the embedding of heating wires for direct electrical contact with busbars that are deposited; the usage of a fine powder coating (FPC) plasma process at atmospheric pressure to deposit the busbars; and the mounting a connection element on and/or in each of the busbars.
