An electro-optic observation device, in particular a thermal imaging device, is provided. The electro-optic observation device includes a handheld device housing, a lens group arranged in the device housing on the entrance side, an image capture unit arranged in the device housing on the image side with respect to the lens group, an image display unit arranged in the device housing, an eyepiece arranged on the exit side with respect to the image display unit, and also a control device configured to control at least the image display unit depending on user-specifically variable parameters. In addition, the electro-optic observation device includes, as input means for varying the parameters, a rotary wheel accessible on the device housing for access by a user.

Objective lens

An interchangeable camera lens includes a main barrel for holding a diaphragm and optical elements, wherein the optical elements define an optical axis (A), a diaphragm rotating ring, rotatable by way of a rotational movement about the optical axis (A), for setting the diaphragm to different f-number values, and a click-stop device. The click-stop device interacts with the diaphragm rotating ring in such a way that the click-stop device is effective in an active work position and the diaphragm rotating ring is therefore rotatable in a stepped manner. The click-stop device is ineffective in an inactive work position and the diaphragm rotating ring is therefore continuously rotatable, wherein the click-stop device comprises a click-stop element seated on a pressure element. The click-stop element is pressable into click-stop grooves by the pressure of the pressure element to enable a step-wise rotation of the diaphragm rotating ring in the active work position. Means are provided for selectively activating and deactivating the click-stop device, wherein the means comprise a movement element which is arranged between the pressure element and the click-stop element and a switching element is assigned to the movement element to fix the movement element in such a detachable manner that the click-stop element is pressable into a click-stop groove by the pressure element in the active work position and not pressable into the click-stop groove by the pressure element in the passive work position.

Interchangeable camera lens

A camera lens assembly includes a focusing mount having a receiving lug and optical elements, which are arranged in the focusing mount, and define an optical axis. An adapter ring has a first planar surface and a second planar surface which are parallel to each other. The first planar surface is in contact engagement against a camera-side contact surface of the focus mount and the second planar surface is in contact with a lens-side contact surface of a lens mount. The lens mount has a tubular-shaped lens mount socket and lens mount attachment elements which are configured to coact with the camera mount attachment elements of a camera.

Camera lens assembly and adaptation set

A device for adjusting the back foci of an objective and a camera to one another has a housing by which a graphic pattern and an optics are mounted at a predetermined distance F' from each other. The temperature compensation for the distance F&#x2032; is constant to &#xb1;2 mm for a temperature change of Delta 20&#xb0; Celsius. The device also includes an apparatus for matching the back foci of an objective and a camera to each other, in which a housing has a fastening mechanism for fastening an object-side end of the objective and a graphic pattern is arranged in the housing on the end of the device opposite the fastening mechanism. The invention also includes a method for equalizing the back foci of an objective and camera using specific steps.

A manually controlled sensor for authenticity identification of luminescent identification features on documents is described, in which the identification feature is illuminated with an excitation wavelength and may respond at a different wavelength, with the response wavelength being detected and evaluated by a radiation receiver. In order to improve the sensitivity and to comply with the safety at work regulations, a focused beam ( ), which is emitted from a beam source ( ), is converted by focusing optics ( ) in such a manner that a scanning bar ( ), which is approximately in the form of a line, is projected on the surface of the object ( ) to be investigated, which causes the identification region ( ) which is arranged on the object ( ) to fluoresce in a luminescent manner in at least one subregion, and the luminescence signal produced in this way is passed via detection optics ( ) to an evaluation unit ( ), which evaluates the luminescence signal. Handsensor for authenticity identification of signets on documents

An objective for a movie camera for digital cinematography comprises a cylindrical main barrel with a bayonet or K mount, an inner tube, fixed optical elements, adjustable optical sliding elements and drive rings with scales for adjusting the optical sliding elements that are mounted rotatably in the axial direction on the main barrel. The objective also comprises an iris diaphragm with a diaphragm ring rotating on the main barrel, an internal focusing system and a back focus correction device. The inner tube is mounted on the main barrel in a fashion displaceable along the optical axis for the purpose of back focus correction by means of the back focus correction device. The fixed optical elements, the iris diaphragm and sliding holders for holding the adjustable optical sliding elements are inserted into the inner tube.

Objective for a movie camera

The invention is directed to an arrangement for displacing the parts of an objective with at least one adjusting ring 6. A fine adjusting ring 40 is also provided and there is no switchover device which must be actuated by the operator. The fine adjusting ring 40 is at standstill when it is not actively rotated by the operator. A coarse adjusting ring 6 is rotatably journalled in the housing 10 of an objective. A transmission or gearing for suitably fine adjusting this coarse adjusting ring 6 includes a sun gear wheel 1 mounted fixedly on the objective housing 10, a fine adjusting ring 40 which includes a shaft pin 4 on which planetary gear wheels 2 are journalled and an output gear wheel 3 rotatably mounted on the coarse adjusting ring 6 via a slip clutch 5.

Coarse and fine drives for an objective

The invention is directed to a backlash-free cam drive which can be subjected to an impact load. The cam drive includes: a housing defining a longitudinal axis; a cam follower assembly mounted in the housing so as to be displaceable along the axis fixed against rotation about the axis; an adjusting member mounted on the housing so as to be rotatable about the axis and relative to the cam follower assembly; and, a cam formed in said adjusting member so as to define two mutually adjacent guide cams extending along a guide path. The cam follower assembly includes: a frame; first and second contact rollers mounted on the frame so as to be displaceable relative to each other; a spring for resiliently biasing the first and second contact rollers relative to each other and against corresponding ones of the guide cams whereby the cam follower assembly is displaced along the axis as the adjusting member is rotated; an ancillary part fixedly mounted to the frame to extend into the guide path between the guide cams but not touching the guide cams during normal operation of the cam drive in the absence of the impact load; the ancillary part including a shock absorber for contact engaging one of the guide cams in response to the impact load applied transversely to the guide cams; and, the adjusting member defining the guide cams being made of a first material and the shock absorber being made of a second material elastically softer than the first material.
