The present invention relates to an aqueous dental glass ionomer composition for use in the treatment of cavitated carious lesions, which composition comprises a water-soluble, polymerizable polymer comprising acidic groups, which is reactive with the particulate glass in a cement reaction, whereby the polymerizable polymer has a polymer backbone and pendant groups having one or more polymerizable carbon-carbon double bonds. The dental glass ionomer composition is used as a permanent direct restoration.

Dental adhesive composition

A composition is adapted to be stored for at least 24 hours at between 0&#xb0; C. to 40&#xb0; C. and between 0 percent and 100 percent humidity. The composition includes from 0.2 to 5 percent by weight of a peroxide, from 0.2 to 3 percent by weight of a metal containing material, from 0.1 to 3 percent by weight of a protected reducing agent. The invention concerns a dental composition comprising bisacrylamides that are polymerizable by free-radical polymerization and by Michael-addition polymerization with amines. The application of polymerization and addition polymerization with amines opens the possibility to completely reacted materials that have no oxygen inhibited layers. The claimed bisacrylamides have an improved hydrolytic stability.
