A mobile machine includes a set of human presence sensors that comprise one or more optical sensors, one or more thermal sensors, and an additional sensor that senses a characteristic of a human. The contribution of the various sensor values generated by the sensors is determined based on environmental conditions. A human presence metric, indicative of human presence, is generated from the contributions of the various sensor signals.

Method for planting seeds or plants and a corresponding machine

A combination of a tractor and an implement is pulled by the tractor. A draw bar is coupled to the tractor so as to be pivotable about a vertical axis. The implement is supported on the ground by wheels and comprises a cultivating element for cultivating a field. A control device is usable to activate a first actuator with which the a position of the draw bar is changeable in relation to the implement, where the control device can be operated in order to activate the first actuator in such a manner that the latter adjusts the draw bar with the effect of moving the implement toward the outside of a curve.

Combination of a tractor and an implement

An assembly and a method for the precision drilling of seed grains use a drilling machine with at least one row unit which is assigned a drive set up for instigating delivery of a seed grain into a furrow, and a control system which is connected to a position-determining system, to a memory device for storing delivery positions of seed grains, to the drive of the row unit and to a seed material sensor for detecting the actual delivery position of the seed grains in the furrow. The control system controls the drive based on signals from the position-determining system, the memory device and the seed material sensor so that the seed grains are delivered successively at the delivery positions.

Assembly and method for the precision drilling of seed grains

An engine-driven vehicle/implement coupling system includes a mechanical coupling and one or more electronic and/or hydraulic connections. A coupling condition monitoring system includes one or two electronic control units, sensors for sensing a coupling condition of the electronic and/or hydraulic connection, and a sensor on the mechanical coupling for generating a signal representing a coupling condition of the mechanical coupling. Sensor signals are transmitted to the electronic control unit which, in response prevents erroneous coupling or uncoupling and prevents drive-away of the vehicle or implement.
