Embodiments include a system for providing an identification of a collaborative task. The system may include a communication unit and a processing unit. The communication unit may be configured to receive a request of a user to create the collaborative task and send task metadata to a further system. The processing unit may be configured to generate the task metadata. The task metadata may be a part of the collaborative task and identifying the collaborative task as a part of a process.

Method and system to process a request to create a collaborative task

Described herein are systems and methods for constructing linear representations of content based networks. The methods comprise receiving a sub-network of a content based network comprising a plurality of fragments connected by one or more links, calculating fragment weight for at least some of the plurality of fragments, calculating link weight for at least one of the one or more links, creating a hierarchical structure from the sub-network, based on at least some of the calculated fragment weights and at least some of the calculated link weights, and converting the hierarchical structure to a linear representation. The linear representation may be augmented by additional overview information such as table of contents and index, which may be automatically generated.

Constructing linear representation of a content based network

An information access system and method are disclosed. A system includes a user input device and a graphical user interface responsive to commands from the user input device. A plurality of graphical structures is displayed in the graphical user interface. Each graphical structure is defined by three or more spatial dimensions, the intersection of which defines a segment. Each segment represents a defined group of information associated with the intersection of dimensions. Each group can be created manually, or defined algorithmically. The system further includes one or more controls displayed in the graphical user interface, responsive to the commands generated from the user input device, and configured for graphically manipulating selected segments of the one or more graphical structures.

A method and system are disclosed for automatically updating individual conditions associated with a pending conditional financial transaction. As the price of a financial instrument varies, a pending conditional financial transaction may be issued to cause the financial instrument to be bought or sold whenever its price satisfies certain specified conditions. In the field of common stock transactions, the disclosed method automatically updates a pending conditional sell order, called a stop loss order, upon the occurrence of several conditions, such as when the current stop loss order has expired, when the current price of one share of the stock has risen a predetermined percentage above the current stop loss value, or when the total value of all of the shares of the stock has increased beyond a predetermined percentage limit. When a stop loss order is updated, a new stop loss value is calculated based upon the current price and a percentage leeway in the price. The new stop loss order is then transmitted to an appropriate financial institution.
