A control unit for use in the engine compartment or in the transmission of a motor vehicle. The control unit has a line section for an engine or transmission fluid, a circuit carrier, and a base plate. The base body is mounted on the base plate. The circuit carrier is arranged between the base body and the base plate. The base body has a plurality of parallel channels each having a respective outlet. At least one of the plurality of parallel channels forms a portion of the line section. A separate cover is mounted on the base body, the cover having a single inlet coupled to the plurality of parallel channels. The cover is, other than only the inlet, connected to the base body in a fluid-tight manner, and the inlet is the only fluid passage through the cover.

A sensor assembly includes a metal carrier plate () and a sensor housing () made of plastic, that contains at least one sensor element. The sensor housing () is connected to the carrier plate () by at least one screw () that extends through a through hole () of the carrier plate and is screwed into a screwing channel () defined in the plastic housing material of the sensor housing. As a result, the sensor assembly has a secure screwed connection.

Sensor assembly

An arrangement of an electronic component in a plastic housing, including a cover and a lower part, and to a method for fixing the electronic component in the housing. The cover is connected to the lower part and exerts a pre-defined force (F) on the electronic component. The cover is designed such that the influence of the height tolerance (dh) of the electronic component on the force (F) can be compensated to the effect that, once the cover has been mounted, the force (F) applied to the lower part is in a pre-defined force range (B).
