A conveyor pan for a chain scraper conveyor comprises a bottom plate and a pair of side profiles fixed to the bottom plate by welding. The conveyor pan has an increased wear resistance, in particular due to a specific geometry of a weld groove formed between the profile rails of the side profile and the bottom plate. The weld groove extends deeper into each profile rail, resulting in a more durable weld connection during use of the conveyor pan. In addition, a geometry of a pocket member for connecting adjacent conveyor pans and an inspection opening formed in the bottom plate have also been improved to result in an increased strength of the conveyor pan.

Conveyor pan

A plow bit for a bit holder including a recess of a mining plow is disclosed. The plow bit also has a bit shank configured to be inserted into the recess of the bit holder. The bit shank has a front shank face, which is concave. The bit shank also has a rear shank face disposed on an opposite side of the bit shank with respect to the front shank face. The bit shank further has a first lateral shank face connected to the front shank face and the rear shank face. The first lateral shank face includes a first groove extending from the front shank face in direction of the rear shank face. The groove receives a securing pin.

Plow bit assembly

A replaceable guide piece () for an extraction or coal plough () is provided. The replaceable guide piece () includes a generally U-shaped guide piece body () configured to be inserted into a guide claw () of the plough (). A single recess () is formed in a central portion of a guide piece body () to extend at an angle (&#x3b1;) from an upper side of guide piece body () to a side surface of the same. A locking mechanism () is configured to engage with the single recess () to prevent movement of the guide piece () in the longitudinal direction after insertion of the guide piece () into the guide claw.

Guide piece for an extraction or coal plough

The invention relates to a multipart chain fixing device for securing at least one conveyor chain on a trough element of especially an underground scraper chain conveyor. The fixing device comprises a bridge part (), which has a bridge bar () that at least partially overlaps the conveyor chain in a positive-locking manner and ends in two lateral side end portions (). It also comprises two side parts (), which are fastenable to the trough element pan and to which the side end portionsare releasably securable by positive-locking means. For providing a chain fixing device, inclusive of the associated trough element and the individual components, which offer increased safety in underground usage, combined with simple assembly, the side parts () are releasably fastenable in a positive-locking manner in cavities in the conveyor floor of the trough element.

Multipart chain fixing device, trough element and parts for the same

A connecting device for connecting an attachment to a side member of a trough pan of an extracting device is provided. The connecting device includes first fittings on a side member and counter fittings on the attachment, which are detachably connectable to the first fittings. At least one retaining piece prevents detachment of fitting and counter fitting. The first fitting tapers upward in a trapeze-shaped manner and the counter fitting tapers upward in a trapeze-shaped manner, so that by a vertical movement, the first fitting and the counter fitting are able to be fitted into each other or to be detached from each other, and the first fitting and counter fitting are provided with locking strips and/or grooves which interlock in a locking state.

Connecting device for a trough pan of extraction devices, trough pan and attachment therefor

A pan section for combined conveying and winning apparatuses having a bottom run and a top run for guiding driver elements of a conveyor chain, as well as a welded frame structure which has two side cheeks which consist of one-piece rolled profiles. The rolled profiles have a constant profile shape with a bottom leg and a top leg, which are angled outwards in the assembled state, and an intermediate leg being provided with an offset for supporting and welding at least one intermediate plate. The pan section further includes a substructure connected to the bottom leg of the rolled profiles to connect both bottom legs to one another at a distance from the intermediate bottom. The substructure also has mounting pieces positioned at the ends below the bottom legs for transverse-force transmission means.

Pan section

A scraper for a scraper chain conveyor, having a top web, on which a chain attachment region for connecting the scraper to a scraper chain is configured, and having scraper wings for guiding the scraper on side profiles and bottom of a scraper chain conveyor. In order to provide scrapers with which a higher conveying output or a reduction of the drive output to be installed can be achieved, and which also enable a worn or defective scraper to be changed below ground, it is provided according to the invention that the scraper wings consist of a holding portion anchored to the metallic top web and a plastics sliding insert which can be releasably fastened to the holding portion. For the sliding inserts and their retention, various embodiments are proposed.

Scraper for scraper chain conveyors

A pick locking device for a plow pick that includes a pick shank inserted into a receptor box of a pick holder. The locking device may include a retaining pin and a deformable clamp element. The retaining pin may be forced through an opening on the pick holder into a locking groove extending in a shank insert direction along one side face of the shank. The clamp element may secure the retaining pin in a locked position, and may include a first leg and a second leg positioned at an angle to each other. The first leg may be inserted into a retainer in the pick shank and the second leg may be inserted into a locking recess on the retaining pin. The second leg may include a trunnion protruding from the first leg and an annular enclosed opening that extends to a rear of the first leg.

A plow cutter having a cutter foot that includes a cutter shank and a cutter head, the plow cutter including at least one face cutting edge, a plurality of wear-resistant face cutting edge pins each anchored in a respective recess located in the face cutting edge, at least one of the plurality being located on either side of a center plane of the cutter head, and a floor blade that includes at least one wear-resistant floor blade pin. Each of the plurality of the face cutting edge pins and the floor blade pin is made of a highly wear-resistant material, and has a conical pin head and a curved dome shape external surface.

Coal plow cutter

A coal plough for underground mining has a plough body that is guided along a plough guide. The plough body has at least one foot piece which receives a sliding skid. The sliding skid has at least one contact surface formed on its underside, which surface slides on a rail of the plough guide when the sliding skid is in its operating position. The sliding skid has first and second wear inlays on an underside which is arranged in the area of the highest load. The sliding skid can withstand high mechanical loads for a longer period of use.

Plough for underground mining

A bit holder for a ploughing bit of a coal or extraction plough includes an insert pocket open on the top side for receiving a bit shank formed on the ploughing bit. The pocket is bounded by two lateral supporting walls, a front and a rear supporting wall, whereby the rear supporting wall has an elevated section projecting over the adjoining, lateral supporting walls. The rear supporting wall forming a bit support for the ploughing bit slopes down to its outer regions. In order to allow a good support for an inserted bit and easy and fast installation of the bit the front face of the rear supporting wall is fitted on the outer regions with guiding surfaces sloping down inwards to the insert pocket as an installation aid for the ploughing bit.

Plow guide for a chain-pulled plow

Toggle retainers are disclosed for toggle connection assemblies of conveyor pans of a chain scraper conveyor or guide troughs of a mining machine guide used in underground mining operations. The toggle retainers feature laterally open toggle pockets into which toggles can be readily inserted. The toggles have toggle heads that are connected in one piece with one another, with at least one of the toggle heads having a bolt tongue. A toggle retainer can be affixed to one of the toggle pockets by extending the retainer under one or more wall projections. The toggle retainer is designed so as to have multiple parts, with a bolt element, in the assembled state, extending over the bolt tongue and under the wall projections. To ensure a secure placement of the toggle in the toggle pockets, a filler element can be form-fittingly inserted between the bolt element and the back wall of the toggle pocket and connected to the bolt element via a screw joint.

A mining machine for underground mining is disclosed, particularly an extraction or coal plough. When in use, the mining machine is guided along a machine guide, said machine guide including a guide rail and a guide pawl. The guide pawl engaging around said guide rail from above wherein a guide piece is disposed between said guide pawl and said guide rail. The guide piece is releasably attached or attachable to said guide pawl and is sliding along said guide rail. According to the invention, said guide pawl has at least one support means whereassaid guide piece in its installation position is supported on said support means. Further, the guide piece with said guide pawl is fixed by means of a locking mechanism in the longitudinal direction of said guide rail.
