A console for a motor vehicle, having a base part to be arranged on a vehicle floor, a structural part arranged on the side of the base part that faces away from the vehicle floor, and an adjustment mechanism by means of which the structural part is adjustably connected to the base part such that the distance of the structural part from the vehicle floor can be adjusted. A spindle drive is provided for actuating the adjustment mechanism. A second aspect relates to a motor vehicle assembly having a seat adjustment unit by means of which a height of at least one vehicle seat relative to a vehicle floor can be adjusted. The seat adjustment unit is coupled with an adjustment mechanism of the console.

An armrest arrangement for a motor vehicle door includes an armrest which is adjustable in a direction of adjustment, a guide device, at least one slide movably guided on the guide device in the direction of adjustment, at least one coupling element, via which the armrest is connected to the slide, a locking mechanism, by which the armrest is lockable in a previously set position of adjustment along the guide device, and a door lining, which extends two-dimensionally between the slide and the armrest and which is penetrated by the at least one coupling element. The locking mechanism is unlockable by a movement of the armrest in an unlocking direction. The armrest is mounted such that an unlocking movement of the armrest is coupled in the unlocking direction to a second movement by which the armrest is moved away from the door lining.

A lock system is provided with a function controlling mechanism for control of the lock states unlocked, locked and optionally theft secure and child safety. The lock system is characterized by very short times for controlling the desired locking states and good suitability to various requirements with regard to construction space and functionality. The lock system comprises locking pieces, for example a turning latch or lock handle, in a lock for the mechanical locking of the door, at least one operating device in the form of an external door opener and/or an internal door opener, an optional locking cylinder, and elements for transmitting the operating force from the operating device to the locking pieces. The pieces of the function controlling mechanism (FSM), involved in controlling the locking state are not involved in the force path between the operating device and the locking pieces of the lock.

A motor vehicle door includes a box door body formed from a door outer skin and a door inner skin, a large surface cut out section in the door inner skin capable of being covered by a wet/dry space partition with a sealing element. The motor vehicle door also includes a frame structure, containing a window frame, and is connected through a fastening part to the door body. An outer seal near the vehicle body is also formed on the vehicle door. The wet/dry space partition covers, at least in part, a fastening region near the vehicle body and a door inside window sill. The sealing element on the wet/dry space partition runs through an area overlap of the partition and another sealing element is mounted between the frame structure and the door body that extends at least from the outer contour of wet/dry space partition sealing element to the outer seal.

The invention relates to a closing device for a vehicle comprising a lock, a drive for determining the locking state of the locking device, by means of which the locking device may be placed in at least four different locking states and a rotating shaped disc on the drive, which may be rotated by the drive to determine the individual locking states, whereby the individual locking states are each assigned a particular angular position for the shaped disc. According to the invention, the shaped disc () is of such a form that said disc may be taken from each angular position, corresponding to one of the various states (V, K, S) and different to the unlocked state (E), without a third locking state occurring on performing the above.
