A rotary-driven tool for cutting machining, in particular a drilling tool with a cutting body and a holder with a shaft piece is disclosed, with at least a cutter and a dovetail-shaped region on the cutting body and a matching dovetail recess on the holder. The cutting body can only be inserted in the holder laterally to a longitudinal axis of the holder. In order to fix the cutting body, opposing flank sections of the dovetail recess, between which the dovetail-shaped region fits can be moved over each other by means of a screw connection in the holder and on fixing the cutting body said body is subjected to a force on the axial direction by the screw connection. In one aspect, the cutting body is a cutting head and the axial force is exclusively generated by the dovetail-shaped region in cooperation with the dovetail recess in the holder.

Rotary-driven tool for cutting machining with a cutting body

A rotationally driven cutting tool for machining of workpieces, in which at least one cutting insert is fastened detachably in a pocket of a blade bearer so that it is clamped flatly against a base surface of the pocket. For adjustment of the blade there is a cutting insert and a fine adjustment device with which, with the aid of an adjusting screw arrangement, an adjusting element supported on a lateral wall of the cutting insert can be adjusted relative to the cutting insert. The adjusting screw arrangement comprises a threaded sleeve that is held, preferably with play, in a smooth through opening having a narrow point and comprises a screw part in functional engagement therewith that stands in a chain of pressure force with the adjusting element.

Rotationally driven cutting tool

A circulating tool for cutting of workpieces including a carrier element that bears at least one cutter blade insert in an exactly positioned manner. A device is provided for adjusting the position of the insert relative to the carrier element and a clamping device is provided using a clamping claw, with which the insert can be fixed in the adjusted position relative to the carrier element in that the clamping claw presses the insert flat against a support surface. In order to be able to use indexable inserts of any form without providing weakening openings and to obtain the greatest possible measure of free space for configuring the tool and shaving removal with a space-saving configuration of the adjusting and clamping apparatus, the insert is accommodated in a pocket of the clamping claw and the support surface is directly constructed on the carrier element.

Cutting tool with indexable insert

A device for measuring a pulling-in force of a clamping system provided on a handling device of a machine tool. The device includes a support part having a support surface configured to contact a support surface provided on the handling device, and a pulling-in part movable relative to the support part, which is configured to be subjected to a pulling-in force acting in axial direction during operation of the clamping system. Also included is a deformation body disposed within an interior of the support part and firmly connected between the support part and the pulling-in part. The deformation body is subjected to deformation as a function of the pulling-in force applied to the pulling-in part. A measuring device is also included that is configured to mechanically sense the deformation of the deformation body, and configured to determine a magnitude of the pulling-in force based on a sensed degree of deformation of the deformation body.
