A fastening device () for fastening a hand router to the underside of a work platform () of a workbench () has radially outwardly extending projections which are associated with a base ring for the hand router and which may be introduced into associated fastening pockets by rotating the base ring in the work platform (). The fastening pockets can be formed by fastening members () associated with the underside () of the work platform ().

A supporting framework has at least one roller which is carried by a carrying frame. The roller has an axis positioned generally along the horizontal direction in the use position. An axial extension projects out of each opposite end of the roller. The carrying frame has a pair of opposite, generally vertically extending bearing limbs, each bearing limb having a bearing opening. Each axial extension of the roller extends into one of the bearing openings of the bearing limbs. Lateral guide elements are provided at the two opposite ends of the roller. Each lateral guide element has a radially projecting lug which can be moved between an active position and an inactive position. The lugs can prevent a workpiece from moving past the ends of the roller when the lugs are in the active positions.

Supporting frameworks

Load-bearing frameworks (), tables or the like with four feet have at least one foot being formed by a cap () which is associated with a cap-carrier (). The cap () can be rotated about a horizontal axis (). The cap () forms a standing surface () by way of a portion of its circumferential surface (). For stabilizing purposes, the circumferential surface () runs along a helical curve around the horizontal axis ().

A folding stand () for a cross-cut saw or the like, has an elongate carrying body () for a cross-cut saw, at the ends of which two legs () are hinged. The legs pivot from a storage position, in which they are placed parallel to the carrying body (), into an operating position, in which they are placed in a trapezoidal position relative to each other. The cross-cut saw is detachably fixed to the carrying body (). The carrying body () is configured as a frame (), while the fixing device forms brackets (&#x2033;) interacting with the frame.

The invention relates to a foldable frame () for oscillating saws or the like with an elongated support body (), to which the oscillating saw is mountable, and to which, at each one of its two respective ends, are connected two legs (), the latter being swivelable from a storage configuration in which they extend essentially parallel to the support body () to an operative configuration in which they extend essentially perpendicular from the support body (). In order to improve the usefulness of the above-described foldable frame, it is proposed that the support body () be configured as two support body sections (), which are connected to one another by a hinge (), which in the storage configuration lie parallel to each other, and which by swivelling movement through 180&#xb0; can be brought into the operative configuration.
