The present invention is directed to a shaft with two front sides and an axis of rotation, whereby the shaft comprises at least one gear with the same axis of rotation, which gear borders at least a first one of the front sides in an axial area. Viewed from radially inside toward radially outside, the gear comprises a connection part with a central receptacle for the shaft, and an outer part with teeth. The connection part is cast directly between the shaft and the outer part. The connection part extends over the shaft in axial direction and covers the first front side.

The invention relates to a method for switching several electric circuits in a vehicle, wherein several positions of an actuating element are binarily coded, the binary codification is fed to a logic and the logic controls the switching of the electric circuits, and also a corresponding switch with an actuating element and a switching device for attaining several switching modes, depending upon the position of the actuating element, wherein the switching device is constructed of several switching elements with two switching modes each, so that there results a binary codification of the switching modes of all switching elements, depending upon the position of the actuating element in order to switch the electric circuits by means of a logic.

Method and apparatus for switching several electric circuits

A pressure sensor unit,is provided, specifically for automotive engineering applications. A pressure measuring cell,is disposed within a main body housing,, the main body housing having a recess,holding a pressure sensor,and a pressure transmission medium,. A separation membrane,is disposed between the pressure transmission medium and a supply opening,formed in the housing,, the separation membrane separating the sensed pressure medium from the pressure transmission medium and also closing off and admission opening,in the measuring cell housing. The separation medium is held in place between an exterior surface of the measuring cell housing and an interior cooperating surface of the main body housing whereby a sealing closure of the admission opening is established by means of a relative clamping force between the respective cooperating exterior surface of the measuring cell housing and the interior surface of the main body housing when the measuring cell housing and the main body housing are brought into a respective connected position.

Pressure sensor apparatus with separation membrane held between sensor and measuring cell housing bodies

A pressure sensor suitable for use in automotive applications is provided to sense the pressure of a pressurized fluid medium and generate an electrical signal representative of the sensed pressure on a set of electrical contact members. A main housing body has a fluid supply opening adapted to conduct a pressurized fluid medium into the housing body. A pressure measuring cell is provided including a plastic measuring cell housing and an electric pressure sensor arranged on the plastic measuring cell housing. The pressure measuring cell is disposed on the housing body of the pressure sensor apparatus adjacent the fluid supply opening so that at least part of the electric pressure sensor is acted upon by the pressurized fluid medium. A reinforcement plate member is adapted to engage a back side of the pressure measuring cell to hold the pressure measuring cell in place relative to the main housing body against the pressure of the pressurized fluid medium. At least two electrical conductors are integrally molded into the plastic measuring cell housing and extend completely through the plastic measuring cell housing and through the reinforcement plate member to form first and second sets of electrical contacts on opposite high and low pressure sides of the plastic measuring cell housing to enable electrical connection to the electric pressure sensor disposed in the main housing body.
