A method and an assembly for controlling an internal combustion engine having multiple burners is provided. Combustion measurement data is collected in a burner-specific manner for each burner and assigned to a burner identification identifying the respective burner. Performance measurement data of the internal combustion engine is also collected and used to determine a performance value. A machine learning model is trained by means of the combustion measurement data, the associated burner identifications and the performance measurement data, to generate burner-specific control data which optimizes the performance value when the burners are actuated in a burner-specific manner using the control data. The control data generated by the trained machine learning model is output for the burner-specific actuation of the burners.

A turbo-machine is provided having at least one turbo-machine stage, wherein overload protection of the rotating shaft is provided by the method and, to protect the rotating shaft against overload, a measurement of a torsional stress of the rotating shaft is carried out during operation of the rotating shaft. The torsional stress is measured via a measurement of the torque of the rotating shaft. The torque is preferably measured magneto-elastically. By using the measured torque of the rotating shaft, the development of the torque is forecast. Further a turbo-machine is provided comprising at least one turbo-machine stage which has at least one rotating shaft, wherein the turbo-machine has a device for carrying out the method.

A method for determining the size of a radial gap between rotating and torsion-proof parts, particularly the parts of a turbomachine is provided. According to the method, an original signal emitted by a transmitter device located on the surface of the rotating part is received in a modified manner by a receiver device disposed on the torsion-proof part and is redirected to an evaluation unit. The evaluation device determines and displays the size of the radial gap from the received signal by determining the parameters of the trajectory of the rotating transmitter device.

A method for analyzing the operation of a gas turbine is provided. A neural network based upon a normal operation of the gas turbine is learned. A dynamic pressure signal is read by a pressure sensor in or on the compressor of the turbine, and an operating parameter is read by a further sensor. The dynamic pressure signal is subjected to a frequency analysis, a parameter of a frequency spectrum of the pressure signal being determined. Based upon the measured operating parameter and the parameter of the frequency spectrum of the pressure signal, the neural network is learned. The measured operating parameter and the parameter of the frequency spectrum are input parameters, and a diagnostic characteristic value representing a probability of a presence of normal operation of the gas turbine as a function of the input parameters is output.

Method for analysis of the operation of a gas turbine

The invention relates to a method for determining the size of a radial gap between rotating and torsion-proof parts, particularly the parts of a turbomachine. According to said method, an original signal emitted by a transmitter device located on the surface of the rotating part is received in a modified manner by a receiver device disposed on the torsion-proof part and is redirected to an evaluation unit. Said evaluation device determines and displays the size of the radial gap from the received signal by determining the parameters of the trajectory of the rotating transmitter device.

A method for measurement of the distance between a component which is moved past a reference surface and that reference surface is intended to be suitable in particular for use for the measurement of radial gaps in a turbine, while having particularly high measurement accuracy. To this end, a method based on a triangulation measurement be combined with a reference measurement for determination of the actual speed of the component. In this case, two light beams aligned essentially parallel to one another as well as at least one further light beam, aligned at an angle to the parallel light beams in the movement direction of the component, are monitored for a respectively associated reflection signal which is caused by the component. The time difference between the arrival of the reflection signals associated with the parallel light beams on the one hand, and the time difference between the arrival of the reflection signals associated with one of the parallel light beams and the angled light beam on the other hand, are used to determine a characteristic value for the distance.
