A device for the feedback-controllable metering of hydrogen may include: a valve seat; a sealing element; and an electromagnetic actuator having a pole core, a solenoid, and an armature coupled to the sealing element. The actuator moves the sealing element along an axis as a function of an electric current in the solenoid. A surface of the pole core and a surface of the armature conjointly form a double cone.

Device for the controllable metering of hydrogen and method for the production thereof

A high pressure pump of a common rail pump system includes a pump body having a cylinder with a piston bore and a piston reciprocally driven in the piston bore to pressurize fuel in the cylinder. The piston has an inner end located in the piston bore and an outer end outside the piston bore. A bellow having a first opening and a second opening is arranged between the piston and the pump body, wherein the piston extends through the first and second openings, wherein the bellow is connected to the pump body such that the first opening is sealed on the pump body and wherein the bellow is connected to the outer end of the piston such that the second opening is sealed on the piston. This arrangement prevents mixing of engine oil and fuel. The bellow may be connected to a drainage line via a one-way valve.

High pressure pump

A plug-in pump includes a cylinder and a pump housing, wherein the cylinder has a cavity in which a movable piston is accommodated, wherein a first end of the piston delimits a pump chamber, and a second end of the piston is connected to a drive device for the piston. An inlet valve is arranged in the cylinder, which inlet valve connects the pump chamber to a feed line for a first fluid, and an outlet valve connects the pump chamber to an outlet. The pump housing has a cavity that forms a first chamber connected to a feed line for the first fluid, and at least one second chamber which is separated from the first chamber and which is connected to a fluid system of a second fluid. The first chamber is fluidically sealed off with respect to the second chamber.

Plug-in pump

A plug-in pump for a common-rail system has a pump housing having a cylinder formed therein and a piston guided in the cylinder, a fuel inlet, and a fuel outlet. The pump housing also includes a plug-in section for inserting the pump housing into an opening of an engine component, and a flange that delimits the plug-in section, for fastening the pump housing to the engine component. To cool the plug-in pump, the pump housing has at least one flow duct with a separate fluid inlet and a separate fluid outlet. The fluid inlet is connectable to a fluid-discharging line of the internal combustion engine, and the fluid outlet is connectable to a fluid-receiving line of the internal combustion engine.

A radial piston pump for generation of high fuel pressures in fuel injection systems comprises a pump housing, a pump shaft and at least one cylinder insert, arranged radially to the pump shaft. A cylinder chamber is located within the cylinder insert in which a piston can move back and forth. The cylinder insert is connected with a front face to a flattening of the pump housing, by connecting means. The cylinder insert comprises an inlet port and a high pressure port. The front face of the cylinder insert and/or the flattening of the pump housing comprise precisely machined raised sealing regions for sealing the cylinder insert against the pump housing, which are relatively small in relation to the total front face of the cylinder insert and the total flattening of the pump housing. A high surface pressure is thus achieved in the sealing region.

Radial piston pump

A high-pressure fuel accumulator (), in particular for a common rail injection system, has a housing () in which a pressure chamber () is inserted, and at least one inlet and at least one outlet. The pressure chamber is implemented as a through bore, wherein the through bore is securely sealed with a tie rod nut connection () (). In a high-pressure fuel accumulator the pressure chamber can be implemented as a blind bore, wherein the blind bore being securely sealed with a tie rod ().

The invention relates to a radial piston pump unit for a high pressure injection system with a pump housing in which a driveshaft with an eccentric section is mounted. A reciprocating ring sits on the above section and drives at least one spring-loaded piston which may be displaced in a direction radial to the drive axis. The driveshaft is embodied to comprise an end region which as a floating mounting and is also the drive for a fuel supply pump.
