A locking unit (), for a vehicle seat (), includes a locking pawl () which is mounted so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis between an open position and a closed position and which has a retention contour () for securing a locking bolt () in the closed position. At least one claw (), offset in the axial direction with respect to the locking pawl (), is mounted so as to be pivotable about the same pivot axis. The claw () has a closure contour (). The locking pawl () can be pivoted from the open position to the closed position by the closure contour () being acted upon by the locking bolt ().

A locking unit () for a vehicle seat () includes a pawl () which is mounted pivotably about a pivot axis between an open position and a closed position and has a retaining contour () for securing a locking pin () in the closed position. At least one claw () is mounted pivotably about the same pivot axis in a manner offset in the axial direction with respect to the pawl (). The claw () has a closing contour (). The pawl () is pivotable from the open position into the closed position by the closing contour () being acted upon by the locking pin ().

A vehicle seat locking unit () includes a lock housing having a receptacle opening () for receiving a locking bolt (). A rotary latch () is mounted to swivel around a bearing bolt () and has a hook aperture () for locking together with the locking bolt. The bearing bolt is aligned in an axial direction and the receptacle opening is delimited by a locking bolt stop element (), located in the hook aperture, which axially protrudes into the lock housing. In a locked state the locking bolt extends in the axial direction. A first contact region (), between the locking bolt and the stop element, and a second contact region (), between the locking bolt and the rotary latch, partially overlap in the axial direction, or the first contact region lies completely within the second contact region in the axial direction. A vehicle seat () includes such locking unit.

A locking unit () for a vehicle seat () includes a housing with a side plate () which has at least one first mounting aperture (), and/or with a cover plate () which has at least one second mounting aperture (), and at least one mounting stud (). The first mounting aperture () and/or the second mounting aperture () are designed so that the mounting stud () can be placed in at least two different positions in the first mounting aperture () and/or in the second mounting aperture ().

A vehicle seat () includes a structural part () which has a lock connection plate () and a locking unit () which is fixed to the lock connection plate (). The locking unit () has at least one bearing bolt () with a passage opening (). The lock connection plate () also comprises at least one mating contour () which projects into the passage opening () in the at least one bearing bolt ().
