A system for determining the location of pipelines using at least one geopig that is introduced into a pipeline, advances therein and that has a magnetic source for generating a magnetic field, wherein at least one unmanned aerial vehicle is provided with magnetic field sensors and position determination devices, a controller is provided for determining the field strength profile of the magnetic field and for positioning the unmanned aerial vehicle at a defined distance from the at least one geopig, and a device is provided for determining the location of the at least one geopig from the position of the unmanned aerial vehicle and the defined distance between the at least one geopig and the unmanned aerial vehicle.

A magneto-elastic force sensor includes a sensor head () that has an emitting coil () which generates a magnetic field and at least one magnetic field sensor () for measuring a magnetic flux caused by the magnetic field of the emitting coil () in a measured object (). The sensor head () also includes a recorder () for recording an electrical value that reflects the inductivity of the emitting coil () or that is clearly connected to the latter. The magneto-elastic force sensor allows for compensation of a distance dependency in the measurement signal by ascertaining the distance between the emitting coil () or the sensor head () and the measured object () based on the recorded electrical value and by compensating the distance dependency in the measurement signal based on the ascertained distance.

A magnetoelastic torque sensor () has an emission coil () for generating a magnetic field in an object (), the torque of which is to be determined. The emission coil is axially oriented (A) and has an axial emission coil end surface () which can be guided towards the object (). At least two reception coils () at a distance from the emission coil and having, respectively, a receiving coil end surface () which can be guided towards the object () to capture a response signal induced in the object () by the magnetic field of the emission coil (). At least the receiver coil end surface () of one of the receiver coils protrudes beyond the emission coil end surface () to a selected distance from the object ().

Magnetoelastic torque sensor

A torque sensor arrangement including a contactless torque sensor, in which the torque sensor is arranged on an electrically operating linear carriage is provided. A distance sensor is also arranged on the linear carriage such that it allows the distance to the object of which the torque is to be determined to be measured.

At least one transceiver sends ultrasonic pulses through an object, which at least partially transmits ultrasonic pulses, into an element which reflects the ultrasonic pulses. The ultrasonic pulse(s) can be reflected in a temperature-correlated manner from the reflective element to the transceiver.

Measuring device and method for determining temperature and/or pressure using measuring device

A method for determining the temperature of an away-facing surface of an object, wherein at least one ultrasonic pulse is transmitted through a surface of the object facing a transmitter/receiver unit into said object; the at least one ultrasonic pulse is reflected at least partially in the direction of the transmitter/receiver unit on the surface of the object facing away from the transmitter/receiver unit; and the reflected part of the at least one transmitted ultrasonic pulse is received by the transmitter/receiver unit. At least one temperature value for the object surface facing the transmitter/receiver unit is also determined; at least one value is determined for the propagation time of the at least one ultrasonic pulse through the object, and at least one temperature value for the object surface facing away from the transmitter/receiver unit is determined by the at least one temperature value for the object surface facing the transmitter/receiver unit and the at least one propagation time value.

A switching station for high or medium voltage offers a simple and practicable configuration for information transmission with a high security against failure.
