The invention concerns a load hook with a hook fastened to a hook tackle that can be safely handled. A cover region is arranged at least partially between the hook tackle and the hook, such that the hook is covered starting at the outer contour of the hook tackle.

A device for manually maneuvering a handling unit, includes a mounting structure for attachment to a handling unit which is operated through actuation of a control mechanism connected to the mounting structure. A handle frame is connectable to the mounting structure and includes a cross member and a pair of elongate grip elements detachably coupled to the axial ends of the cross member which is releasably attached to the mounting structure. The cross member and the grip elements can be selected from a plurality of cross members and grip elements of varying lengths to thereby establish a construction kit that allows construction of handle frames of varying configuration.

A pendant switch assembly for controlling a hoist, includes a transmitter mounted to a housing for wireless transmission of control signals to a receiver mounted remotely with respect to the housing and operatively connected to a power controller of a drive of the hoist. A plurality of control elements is arranged in the housing and actuated by a plurality of actuators from outside for delivering control signals for the power controller to the transmitter. Secured to the hoist is a traction member which is guided downwards, with a receptacle secured to a lower end of the traction member. The housing is securely attachable to the receptacle by plugging in the housing into the receptacle, and detachable from the receptacle by withdrawal thereof. Electric energy is supplied to the control elements and the transmitter by a power source which is also accommodated in the housing.

Pendant switch assembly for controlling a movable hoist

A winch including a casing for accommodating an electric motor, a gearbox and a roller for winding and unwinding a traction member. In order to provide a cost-effective flat winch which can be transported by a single person and used universally, in particular for the domestic sector, the casing has a box-like configuration to exhibit a shape and size of a suitcase or attach&eacute; case, with the casing having opposite flat outer sides, with one outer side having attached thereon a suspension member, and the other outer side being formed with an opening for passage of the traction member. The electric motor, the gearbox and the roller are arranged in the casing and extend in a common plane, with the casing including a handle to allow transport of the winch by a person. The electric motor may be designed as a universal motor, and connected via a belt drive to the gearbox which is designed as a self-locking worm drive.

Portable winch

An inlet power feed for longitudinally slotted current contact lines having conductor rails disposed in a longitudinal direction inside an elongated plastic profile, includes a cover defining an inlet feed region and electrically insulating the inlet feed region to the outside, with the cover receiving a power supply cable which terminates at a location above the elongate plastic profile. The power supply cable includes a plurality of cores for connection to a plurality of conductor rails in one-to-one correspondence. Electrically connecting the cores of the cable to the conductor rails are a plurality of flat junction bars, each of the junction bars connecting one core of the cable to one conductor rail and having a flat side which confronts an outer side wall of the elongate plastic profile and, at least partially, bears in flat engagement on the outer side wall, with the junction bar extending inside the cover from the conductor rail vertically upwards into the area above the elongate plastic profile.

A cost-effective ergonomic shaped suspended control panel for remotely controlling machinery, such as hoists or cranes. The suspended control panel has two curved housing portions and a curved circuit card mounted in the interior of the curved housing. Keys are mounted to the front side of the circuit card and switching devices are mounted to the back side of the circuit card. An electric line, supported by a cable, is electronically connected to the circuit card, the keys and the switching devices. The control panel is easily assembled through use of plug sockets for connecting the switching devices to the circuit board. Each plug socket is mounted with spring clamps which extend through the circuit card for wiring.

Suspended control panel

A hoist, including: load suspension device, a lifting means for raising and lowering the load suspension device; a traction mechanism connecting the suspension device with the lifting device; and a control device for the lifting device and the load suspension device. The control device is connected with the load suspension device and including a housing, a handle for manipulating the load suspension means, switching members arranged in the housing which are actuable for controlling the lifting device, and switching rockers arranged in the housing so as to be able to actuate the switching members. The switching rockers are each inclined toward the handle and are swivable around and connected to one end of a rocker shaft extending horizontally when the control device is considered as vertically suspended from the traction mechanism. The switching members are located so as to be reachable by a thumb of an operator's hand grasping the handle, while the handle is curved so that an imaginary line continuing from an outer surface of the handle intersects each of the switching rockers near supporting surfaces of the switching rockers. The supporting surface of each of the switching rockers includes a central region located opposite the rocker shaft so as to receive the operator's thumb in a neutral position and two edge regions that adjoin a top and a bottom of the central region at an angle in a direction tranverse to the rocker shafts so as to receive the operator's thumb in a switching position.

Hoist with a lifting device

A hoist with a lifting device, by way of which a load suspension device connected with the lifting device via a traction mechanism can be raised and lowered, and with a control device which is arranged between the load suspension device and the traction mechanism and includes a housing with a handle for manipulating the load suspension device. Switching members are arranged in the housing for controlling the lifting device, and a high-strength connecting member is fastened in the housing, with the traction mechanism and the load suspension device being fastened to the connecting member. The housing is divided into a mechanical part with the handle for receiving an actuating mechanism for the switching members and into an electrical part for receiving the switching members with the connecting member being arranged between the mechanical part and the electrical part.

A suspended pull or control switch is provided for overhead mechanical devices, such as power hoists, in which the control switch is so suspended and configured to be physiologically oriented with respect to the attendant's position that the attendant may grasp and visually consult the switch over a long period of time without becoming as fatigued as is the case with conventionally positioned switches. This is achieved by configuring the body of the switch, or at least that portion grasped, to be angled from the vertical axis of suspension of the switch to that degree necessary for the handle portion to be ergonomically work-oriented with the attendant's hand and angle of vision. A dual control switch may be utilized in which both hands of the attendant would be conformed to.

Pull switch

A slide is provided with a simplified support construction involving a reduced number of parts at reduced cost. Also, the appearance of the slide is improved by placing a substantial portion of the reduced support directly under the slide path. Each slide path may include only four vertical supports with the slide supported on those supports with only four cantilevered brackets. The brackets hold four girder segments extending end-to-end directly under the slide path.

Slide

A slide is provided, preferably a water slide, which is self-supporting and may be erected adjacent any amusement location. The slide of the invention provides a substantially longer sliding surface for the amusement of users without requiring an inclined ground surface for support of the slideway. The slide incorporates a pathway for ascending the slide, and preferably a water supply facility to enhance the sliding action. The entire structure is supported on one or more vertical supports resting on the ground.
