A portable rescue device (), such as a spreader device, cutter device or combination device with a cutting and spreading function, for portable rescue operations includes a housing (), a first hand grip () and a second hand grip () for two-handed actuation of the rescue device. An electric motor is in the housing () and a battery () is housed on the rescue device (), or a connection to an external electrical power source. A mechanically or hydraulically driven movable piston rod () performs spreading and/or cutting. A display, which is provided on the housing (). An electronic open- and closed-loop control device provides open- and/or closed-loop control of the electric motor () and/or of the display. The rescue device () has a communication interface () for video data (VD), the video data (VD) being user guidance data, and the display being a video-enabled display ().

Portable rescue device and arrangement comprising a rescue device

A portable tool, such as a spreader tool, cutting tool or combination spreading/cutting tool is for mobile use. The tool has an electric motor, a rechargeable battery received on the tool, a mechanically or hydraulically driven, displaceable piston rod for performing spreading and/or cutting and/or lifting or pressing. An electronic control and regulation unit controls/regulates the electric motor, such as a brushless DC motor. The electronic control and regulation unit specifies a first operating mode in which the electric motor is operated at a first frequency, and a second operating mode in which the electric motor is operated at a second frequency. The operating mode is switchable by an operator of the tool using a manually operable switch between the first and the second operating modes. The rotational speed of a three-phase current electric motor is higher at the second frequency than at the first frequency.

The operating data stored in the data carrier or storage device of the electrical energy source are read by the charging device and transferred to a network.

The invention relates to an apparatus for supporting a tool on an object. The apparatus has a frame and ways on the frame for fixing the apparatus to the object. The tool is attached to the apparatus and the latter supports itself against the object In addition, the frame displays an upper and a lower support claw that are effective even in an inclined disposition with respect to the object. The frame including the upper and lower support claws further forms a C-shape. Moreover, the upper as well as lower support claws are designed such tat the holding effect during loading of the apparatus arises through the canting of the two support claws with respect to a portion of the object located between the two support claws.

According to the invention, the housing () is tubular and (when viewed in cross-section) point symmetrical, e.g. cylindrical, square, triangular or polygonal. The advantage of the hydraulic pump unit is that is can be positioned and transported in the receptacles of conventional portable tank carriers, in particular for the tanks of protective breathing apparatus.
