End mill cutter having a plurality of cutting edges distributed over the circumference of the mill cutter, having a flank which is adjacent to the respective cutting edge in the circumferential direction and a supporting surface which adjoins the flank on that side which faces away from the cutting edge in the circumferential direction.

End mill cutter

A drilling tool includes a tool shank disposed about a center longitudinal axis. The tool shank having a holding region structured to be chucked in the chuck of a machine tool and an active region extending from the holding region. The drilling tool further includes at least two partial cutting edges formed on an end face of the active region and running at right angles to the center longitudinal axis and form a drill main cutting edge and a clearance formed in the end face between the partial cutting edges. The clearance being recessed axially along the center longitudinal axis toward the tool shank.

A method for milling a blank in the production of a turbine blade which in the final state has at least one blade root for fastening to a carrier and also an adjoining blade body extending in the longitudinal direction includes clamping the blank on its root side in a mount and machining the blank with a milling cutter. Machining the blank includes moving the milling cutter in an advancing direction for roughing machining while superimposing a circular movement as per a trochoidal milling method.

Method for milling a blank in the production of a turbine blade

In order to allow high-precision machining of the inner surface of a pipe using little machining time, the draw broach has a cutting part having a plurality of cutters extending in the axial draw direction. The cutting part is divided into a main part and an insertion part tapering conically in the draw direction. The insertion part in turn is divided into a front region, viewed in the draw direction, forming a pre-cutting stage, and a rear region, wherein the conicity of the pre-cutting stage is less than that of the rear region.

Pull reamer

A milling cutter for milling a groove into a blade footing of a turbine blade made from a superalloy. The milling cutter comprises a shaft part and a cutting part connected to the shaft part in the longitudinal direction. The cutting part has flutes and, when viewed in cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, has several cutting teeth distributed about the periphery. The cutting teeth are designed as scraping teeth with negative cutting geometry.

The cutting insert carrier, in particular for a face milling cutter () comprises a tool basic body (), having a multiplicity of insert seats (), in which cutting inserts () are received. Rotatably fastened to the tool basic body () is a setting element, which is realized, in particular, as a curved ring () and which has circumferential cams (), by means of which the clamping levers () are actuated for the purpose of fastening the cutting inserts () in a locking manner. The setting element () enables all clamping levers () to be actuated jointly, at the same time, such that all cutting inserts () are simultaneously released or locked in their insert seats (). As a result, the assembly and setup time for insert changing is reduced significantly in comparison with conventional systems.

Cutting insert carrier

The milling cutter, in particular a round-head milling cutter, has a tool head, which extends along an axial direction and has a number of cutting teeth that each have a cutting edge. Chip flutes are located between each of the cutting teeth. The cutting teeth each have a front-side radial portion and a circumferential axial portion. The respective cutting edge and the chip flute are disposed such that they are inclined in opposite directions with respect to the axial direction such that the cutting tooth widens towards a foot region. In another embodiment, the tool head has two parts: a carrier part made of a tool steel, and a cutting part made of hard metal fastened to the carrier part. The milling cutter is distinguished by a long service life with a high cutting rate and a high quality of machining.

Milling cutter, especially a round-head milling cutter

A reamer for the precision machining of a drilled hole, having a plurality of cutting bars which are separated from one another by chip grooves and extend in the longitudinal direction of the tool, wherein a plurality of chip divider grooves which run in the transverse direction of the tool and divide each cutting bar into cutting segments are provided.
