A torsional vibration damping arrangement, in particular mass damper subassembly, having a carrier which can be driven in rotation and a damper mass rotatably deflectable with respect to the carrier against the restoring action of a substantially radially extending damper spring. The damper spring is fixedly clamped in the damper mass and is supported or supportable with respect to the carrier for transmitting circumferential force. The damper spring is clamped between clamping elements arranged at both sides of the damper spring in circumferential direction.

Torsional vibrating damping assembly, in particular mass damper unit

A torsional vibration damping arrangement for a drivetrain of a vehicle, having a carrier arrangement which is rotatable around an axis of rotation, a deflection mass movable in circumferential direction relative to the carrier arrangement, carrier arrangement and the deflection mass are coupled to be rotatable relative to one another via restoring elements arranged in circumferential direction that extend from the deflection mass in direction of the carrier arrangement. A restoring element is deformable around a force application point which is movable in radial direction under centrifugal force and which is associated with the restoring element. The movable force application point is acted upon by a preloading force acting radially in direction of the axis of rotation by a preloading spring. A main axis of the preloading spring and a main axis of the restoring element do not extend coaxially.

Torsional vibration damper assembly

A torsional vibration damping arrangement particularly for the drivetrain of a vehicle, having a carrier arrangement which is rotatable around an axis of rotation, a deflection mass which is movable in circumferential direction relative to the carrier arrangement. The carrier arrangement and the deflection mass are coupled so as to be rotatable relative to one another via a plurality of radially extending, flexible restoring elements which are arranged in circumferential direction. A restoring element is deformable in each instance around a force application point which is movable in radial direction under centrifugal force and which is associated with the restoring element. A first restoring element is preloaded in a first direction in inactive position of the torsional vibration damping arrangement, and in that a second restoring element is preloaded in a second direction opposite to the first direction in the inactive position.

Torsional vibration damper assembly with pre-tensioning

A torsional vibration damping arrangement for a drivetrain of a vehicle includes a carrier arrangement that is rotatable around an axis of rotation, a deflection mass movable in a circumferential direction relative to the carrier arrangement, and at least one radially extending, elastically deformable restoring element by which the carrier arrangement and the deflection mass are coupled to be rotatable relative to one another. A supporting element is associated with the restoring element and movable radially relative to the restoring element by which the restoring element is supported in circumferential direction with respect to the carrier arrangement at a radial position of the supporting element. A stiffness of the coupling between the carrier arrangement and the deflection mass which is brought about in circumferential direction by the restoring element has an abrupt course at least one radial position of the supporting element.

Torsional vibration damper assembly with speed-dependent characteristics

A torsional vibration damping arrangement, comprises at least one deflection mass pendulum unit with a rotatable carrier, a deflection mass, a deformable restoring element, a supporting element which provides the carrier supporting region, wherein a distance between the carrier supporting region and the deflection mass supporting region can be varied through movement of the supporting element at the carrier, and the supporting element is preloaded in direction of a radially inner base position and is displaceable radially outward against the preloading under centrifugal force action wherein that a radial distance of the supporting element from the base position increases degressively with increasing centrifugal force action at least in one rotational speed range and/or in that a spring stiffness of the restoring element increases progressively at least in one rotational speed range through centrifugal force-induced displacement of the supporting element.

Rotary vibration damping arrangement

A camshaft for an internal combustion engine, having a hollow outer shaft and an inner shaft which is concentrically mounted inside the outer shaft to be rotatable about an angle and a multi-part cam element having a first cam section that is mounted on the outer shaft in a rotationally fixed manner and a second cam section that is connected to the inner shaft in a rotationally fixed manner and rotationally mounted on the outer shaft. The two cam sections have different cam contours, the relative movement of the two cam sections in opposite directions allowing the resulting cam contour of the cam element interacting with a cam follower to be changed to adjust the variable valve opening period. The two cam sections have different maximum lifts, the cam top section of the cam section having the smaller maximum lift being substantially formed by an annular sector.

An assembled camshaft includes an outer hollow camshaft body and an inner camshaft body disposed within the outer hollow camshaft body and mounted so as to rotate relative to it by a predetermined angle. The camshaft also includes at least two separate cam elements. A first cam element is connected with the inner camshaft body so as to rotate with it, and is disposed so as to rotate relative to the outer hollow camshaft body. A second cam element has at least two partial cam elements, in such a manner that a first partial cam element is disposed on the outer hollow camshaft body, so as to rotate with it, and a second partial cam element is connected with the inner camshaft body, so as to rotate with it, and is disposed so that it can be rotated relative to the outer hollow camshaft body.

A camshaft arrangement having two shafts disposed coaxially, one inside the other. A connecting element is inserted into a receptacle in the inner shaft, such that a part of the connecting element protrudes out of the receptacle, and that the protruding part is inserted at least partially in a recess, the recess is designed to be open at least toward an end face of the inner shaft cam, and that the protruding part has at least two opposite side surfaces contacting two corresponding inner surfaces of the recess of each inner shaft cam with a force fit. The further connecting element is designed as a radial pin pressed through a hole in the inner shaft cam element into a receptacle of the inner shaft.
