A valve plate () made of fiber-reinforced plastic for gas exchange valves for reciprocating piston compressors comprises at least two concentric sealing rings () which cooperate with corresponding sealing surfaces () at the valve seal () by way of profiled sealing surface () and that are connected by way of radial webs (). In order to improve the flexibility of the valve plate () and the sealing behavior, the webs () are designed thinner along the entire radial extent thereof between the sealing rings () on both sides of the valve plate () compared to the adjacent thickness of the sealing rings ().

A suction valve includes a non-rotatable lock sleeveconcentrically arranged on a valve seat, the lock sleeve having a non-circular outer contour onto which an unloaderis placed with its radial central sectionand which is correspondingly formed in a diametrically opposed manner to prevent turning.

To reduce the clearance volume for a crank-side concentric suction and pressure valve, it is proposed to arrange a sealingaxially abutting on the suction and pressure valve, wherein the sealingconsists of a number of pressure packingswhich are arranged axially one behind the other.
