A collecting tank for a heat exchanger may include at least one manifold for receiving a plurality of heat exchanger tubes of the heat exchanger. The at least one manifold may have a hollow space through which a fluid is flowable. The at least one manifold may include a bottom and a plurality of tank receptacles for receiving the plurality of heat exchanger tubes. The plurality of tank receptacles may be disposed in the bottom spaced apart from one another in a longitudinal direction and may extend in a transverse direction, which extends transverse to the longitudinal direction. In a height direction extending transverse to the longitudinal direction and transverse to the transverse direction, directed away from the hollow space, the bottom may have at least one curvature directed to an outside.

Collecting tank for a heat exchanger

A heat exchanger of an electrically driven motor vehicle, which includes a tube/rib block having a multiplicity of tubes and having a multiplicity of ribs. The tubes being arranged essentially in parallel to each other and spaced a distance apart, and the ribs each being arranged between two adjacent tubes. The ribs touching the two adjacent tubes, at least one manifold being arranged on one of the sides of the tube/rib block for the purpose of supplying fluid to tubes of the tube/rib block and for removing fluid from tubes of the tube/rib block. A cover device is arranged downstream and/or upstream from the tube/rib block for controlling the air flow through the tube/rib block temporarily or in certain regions for the defined removal of water from the tube/rib block. A method for operating a heat exchanger is also provided.

Heat exchanger and method of operation

A heat exchanger including a tube/rib block made up of tubes and ribs, the tubes forming fluid channels for conducting a first fluid, in particular a refrigerant, and the ribs arranged between the tubes forming a second fluid channel for conducting a second fluid, such as, in particular, air, which flows around the tubes, a collector being arranged at at least one end of the tube/rib block, which communicates with the fluid channels of the tubes, the at least one collector being provided with a plate-type design and including at least one base plate and a cover plate, which are stacked and soldered in a sealed manner, a spacer for spacing the base plate at a distance from the cover plate and for distributing the first fluid in the collector being provided.

Heat exchanger

A heat exchanger for a refrigerant circuit of an air conditioning system, with a heat exchanger block with a first fluid channel for the flow of refrigerant and with a second fluid channel for the flow of a fluid. The first fluid channel and the second fluid channel are in thermal contact for the exchange of heat. The heat exchanger also includes a third fluid channel having a refrigerant inlet and a refrigerant outlet for the flow of the refrigerant. The first fluid channel is in direct thermal contact with the third fluid channel for the exchange of heat between the refrigerant in the first fluid channel and the refrigerant in the third fluid channel.

A heat exchanger for the thermal coupling of two fluids may include an inflow pipe defining a pipe longitudinal centre axis. A fluid inlet may be arranged on the inflow pipe. A plurality of flat tubes leading into the inflow pipe may be arranged on the inflow pipe adjacent to the fluid inlet. The first fluid stream may be flowable along a first fluid path extending from the fluid inlet through the inflow pipe and the plurality of flat tubes. The flat tubes may extend through a second fluid path for a second fluid stream of fluid and may be flowed about by the second fluid stream during operation. The heat exchanger may further include passage screen aperture interacting with the heat exchanger fluid and through which the first fluid stream is flowable. The passage screen aperture may be fluidically connected in series with the flat tubes.

Heat exchanger for the thermal coupling of two fluids

A collector tube for a heat exchanger, which may have at least one flat tube, may include at least one recess, through which a separator may be inserted into the collector tube in an insertion position. The separator may have a separating wall comprising a separating wall thickness, wherein a clearance fit may be present between the separating wall and the recess in response to the insertion of the separator. The separating wall may provide at least one elevation to attain an increase of the separating wall thickness in a subarea of the separator. In the insertion position of the separator, the at least one elevation may be arranged in an area of the recess. In the insertion position, a press fit may be present between the at least one elevation and the recess.

Collector tube for a heat exchanger

A collector tube for a heat exchanger having at least one flat tube, may include a base and a cover arranged opposite the base. The base and the cover may define a longitudinal duct. The base may include at least one passage having an opening configured to accommodate the at least one flat tube of the heat exchanger. The opening may have at least one wide edge and at least one narrow edge. The longitudinal duct may have, in a cross section, a diameter that is smaller than the at least one wide edge of the opening. The at least one passage may include a collar extending away from the longitudinal duct.

A collector tube for a heat exchanger, which may have at least one flat tube, may include a base and a cover arranged opposite one another and embodying a longitudinal duct. The base may have at least one passage having an opening for accommodating the at least one flat tube of the heat exchanger. The at least one passage may have a collar, which may extend away from the longitudinal duct. The cover may have at least one notch, which may be located opposite the at least one passage and which may be embodied for accommodating a subarea of the at least one flat tube.

A heat pump heater for an air conditioning system of a motor vehicle may include a first tube row and a second tube row each including a plurality of flat tubes arranged spaced apart from one another. The first and second tube row may be arranged in parallel to form a tube block. At least some flat tubes of the first tube row may lead into an inlet pipe and at least some flat tubes of the second tube row may lead into an outlet pipe. A refrigerant may be flowable from the inlet pipe via the first tube row and to the outlet pipe via the second tube row. The inlet pipe and the outlet pipe may be fluidically connected to one another via at least one bypass duct such that a liquid phase of the refrigerant is flowable out of the inlet pipe into the outlet pipe.

Heat pump heater

A receiver having a receiver housing that has a fluid-receiving chamber, a fluid inlet, and a fluid outlet. A drier is provided in the fluid-receiving chamber. The receiver is has an inlet channel protrudes into the fluid-receiving chamber, which inlet channel has a channel outlet in the fluid-receiving chamber and conducts fluid into the fluid-receiving chamber from the fluid inlet as a channel inlet, the inlet channel being shaped in such a way that the fluid flowing out of the channel outlet flows out in a lateral direction. A condenser having the receiver is also provided.

Receiver

A heat exchanger is provided that includes a first tube/fin block, first headers arranged on both sides of the first tube/fin block, which first headers communicate with the tubes of the first tube/fin block, and a second tube/fin block having second headers arranged on both sides of the second tube/fin block, which second headers communicate with the tubes of the second tube/fin block, wherein the first tube/fin block having the corresponding first headers is an air-cooled low-temperature coolant cooler and the second tube/fin block having the corresponding second headers is an air-cooled refrigerant cooler, wherein the headers of the first tube/fin block arranged on a respective side of the tube-fin block and a header of the second tube/fin block are connected to one another.

A heat exchanger is provided that includes a first flow channel for a refrigerant, a second flow channel for a refrigerant, and a third flow channel for a coolant, wherein the first flow channel has a first region for initial cooling of the refrigerant and a second region for further cooling of the refrigerant. The refrigerant can flow in a high-pressure phase in the first flow channel and the refrigerant can flow in a low-pressure phase in the second flow channel. A first heat exchange occurs between the refrigerant in the first region of the first flow channel and the coolant in the third flow channel and a second heat exchange occurs between the refrigerant in the second region of the first flow channel and the refrigerant in the second flow channel.

Heat exchanger with high pressure phase refrigerant channel, low pressure phase refrigerant channel and coolant channel

A heat exchanger with mutually adjacent first flow channels and second flow channels. The first flow channels and the second flow channels are received in a first manifold at a first end region of the flow channel end regions and in a second manifold at a second end region of the flow channel end regions. The first manifold has a first base and the second manifold has a second base, the first base and second base having a plurality of openings in which the end regions of the flow channels are received. The first manifold has a first longitudinal channel and a second longitudinal channel. The second manifold has a second cover which together with the second base of the second manifold forms transverse channels, and one first flow channel and one second flow channel are fluidically connected to each other via a respective transverse channel.

A header for a heat exchanger, which comprises a plurality of flat tubes arranged in a longitudinal direction. The header has a bottom and a lid. The bottom has a plurality of openings for coupling the header to the plurality of flat tubes. The lid is arranged opposite of the bottom and connected to the lid, at least at the edges extending in the longitudinal direction, in a fluid-tight manner. The lid has a plurality of transverse channels on a side facing the bottom, which are arranged opposite of the plurality of openings, and a longitudinal channel extending in the longitudinal direction.

Header for a condenser

A heat exchanger having at least one collecting tank which extends in a longitudinal direction and which comprises a plate and a cover, wherein the plate has, at least one of its edge regions running in the longitudinal direction, a rim by means of which the plate engages at the outside over an edge region, which runs in the longitudinal direction, of the cover, or wherein the cover has, at least one of its edge regions running in the longitudinal direction, a rim by means of which the cover engages at the outside over an edge region, which runs in the longitudinal direction, of the plate. The respective rim have, in the longitudinal direction, a multiplicity of calked portions by means of which said rim, in the region of each individual calked portion, is deformed in the plate and the cover to one another.
