A charging contact assembly for a hearing device system. The assembly has a first charging contact which is accessible on an outer side for contacting with a first mating contact of a mating contact assembly, and a second charging contact which is accessible on the outer side for contacting with a second mating contact of the mating contact assembly. Furthermore, the charging contact assembly has a control contact which is galvanically isolated on the outer side from the first and the second charging contacts, and a charging controller which is configured to detect a proper contacting of the first and second charging contacts with the corresponding mating contact based on contact with the control contact.

A hearing instrument includes a housing, a receiver and at least one other component mounted in the housing, in particular a battery and/or an electronic frame. The hearing instrument also has a coupling unit for the vibration-reduced mounting of the receiver. The receiver is elastically coupled by the coupling unit to the at least one additional component.

A damping device for the anti-vibration mounting of a receiver within a hearing instrument includes an elastic damping element, a cage connected to the elastic damping element, and a shell surrounding the cage. The elastic damping element and at least a part of the shell have a lower hardness than the cage. A hearing instrument having a corresponding damping device is also provided.

An elastic damping element provides a vibration-damping mounting of a receiver inside a hearing instrument. The damping element contains a hollow base body, from the inner surface of which a plurality of retaining projections project, and each retaining projection has at its distal end a contact surface for the receiver that will be mounted there. A recess, which is formed in an outer surface of the base body in alignment with the associated retaining projection in order to achieve a reduced material thickness, corresponds with at least one of the retaining projections.

A hearing device has a sealable housing with a wall that delimits an inner space. In addition, the hearing device has a microphone which is arranged in the inner space, and a microphone opening in the wall, as well as a protective element for protecting the microphone. The housing has a sound channel with at least one sound inlet opening, and the protective element is positioned in the sound channel.

A hearing instrument has a hearing device rear housing, at least one microphone, a receiver, an earpiece connection or a soundc tube, an earpiece, a power supply unit, and a signal processing unit. The power supply unit includes a rechargeable power supply and an actuating and control device. The hearing instrument further includes a switching device that is configured to assume at least two switching states, and the actuating and control device is configured to actuate a switched-off state of the hearing instrument depending on the switching state of the switching device. There is also described a corresponding power supply unit for a hearing instrument.

A hearing device has a microphone for detecting an acoustic signal from the environment of the hearing device, and a housing in which the microphone is arranged. The housing is formed with a microphone opening through which the microphone communicates with the environment of the hearing device for detecting the acoustic signal. The hearing device further has a damping element, by way of which the microphone is supported against the housing. Moreover, the hearing device has a barrier element for sealing the microphone opening against moisture in a sound-transmitting manner. The damping element has a pocket in which the barrier element is received reversibly. Furthermore, the barrier element is sealed off from the housing by way of the damping element all around the microphone opening.

A hearing device includes a housing having an assembly opening and a housing cap for closing the assembly opening. The hearing device also includes a signal processing unit disposed in the housing and a sealing body for sealing the housing against the ingress of contaminants. Additionally, the hearing device includes an antenna body for wireless signal transmission with a separate device. This antenna body is embedded in the sealing body.

A hearing aid has an audio-shoe interface, and a hearing-aid system includes a hearing aid and an audio shoe. The hearing aid has a housing, in which an undercut and an abutment are provided. The abutment is arranged opposite to the undercut. Undercut and abutment are embodied such that a retaining lug of an audio shoe can be inserted into the undercut by a rotational movement. The abutment is embodied such that a retaining lug inserted into the undercut can only be removed from the undercut again by a rotational movement in the opposite direction. A lock prevents a rotational movement of an inserted audio shoe in the opposite direction. When the electrical contacts between audio shoe and hearing aid are disposed in the undercut, these too are hidden from view and well protected against external influences.

A behind-the-ear hearing device has a hearing device housing and a user-operable switch. At least two microphones are disposed below the switch in the hearing device housing, and the housing is formed with first sound openings that are arranged directly below the switch. The switch is preferably a rocker switch. The microphones can be positioned below a switch in a space-saving fashion and the installation space of the hearing device housing can thus be used optimally.

A hearing aid includes an identifier for identifying usage of the hearing aid at a correct side on the left ear or the right ear of a wearer. The identifier is constructed as a rotational element having a first feature and a second feature to be respectively set by a rotational movement.

A battery bay of a hearing device should be better protected against unwanted opening. A housing for a hearing device is therefore provided with: a battery bay that is mounted on the housing and can be moved into an open position as well as a closed position; a projection that is permanently attached to the housing, and a securing element to prevent a movement of the battery bay. The securing element is supported on the battery bay and can be pivoted between a secured position and an unsecured position. The securing element also engages behind the projection in the secured position and the closed position of the battery bay so that the battery bay cannot be moved into the open position. The securing element has a recess in which, in the secured position, a tool can be held to move the securing element into the unsecured position.
