An assembly for a drug delivery device is provided, the assembly comprising: a housing for receiving a reservoir, and a cap releasable with respect to the housing, wherein the assembly has a capped state and an uncapped state, wherein the cap comprises a member to be gripped by a user for releasing the cap from the housing, wherein the member is rotatable to release the cap from the housing, wherein the assembly comprises an interface to convert rotational movement of the member into axial movement of the member, the interface comprising a track configured to guide movement of the member, wherein the track has a first region and a second region, wherein, when the first region guides the movement, the member is displaced from the housing by a first distance, and when the second region guides the movement, the member is displaced from the housing by a second distance.

Assembly for a drug delivery device and drug delivery device

An injection device comprising a housing and a cap at a distal end of the housing, the cap comprising: an outer member; an intermediate member disposed within the outer member, at least one of the intermediate member or outer member being rotatable relative to the other of the intermediate member or outer member; and, an inner member disposed within the intermediate member, and coupled to at least one of the outer member and the intermediate member, the inner member being configured to engage a needle shield in the housing. The injection device further comprises a lifting mechanism to reduce a force required to remove the cap from the housing, the lifting mechanism comprising at least one axially-inclined portion in engagement with at least one lifting portion such that rotational movement of the outer member or intermediate member is converted into an axial movement of the inner member from the housing.

The disclosure refers to an apparatus, including a needle unit including a needle arranged along a first axis, a needle shield which covers the needle, a main part, a connector for connecting the needle shield to the main part by a positive connection or an adhesive bond, such that the needle shield is removed when the main part is moved along the first axis away from the needle.

An apparatus is arranged to receive and retain a needle shield for a medicament delivery device, the apparatus comprising a body comprising a wall defining a void and an opening in a proximal end of the body, the opening arranged to allow at least a part of the needle shield to be received into, and at least partially fill, the void, and arms extending from the wall into the void, wherein the arms are configured to engage the needle shield when the needle shield is received in the void and prevent the needle shield from being withdrawn from the void through the opening in the proximal end and wherein at least one of the arms has a first angle with respect to the wall and at least one of the arms has a second angle with respect to the wall that is different to the first angle.

Apparatus for removing and retaining a needle shield

The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery device, comprising a shell adapted to contain one of a plurality of medicament containers prefilled with different deliverable volumes of a medicament. The shell is transparent at least in an area adapted to contain the medicament container, and a label adapted to be arranged on the shell. The label comprises a foil having a first surface and a second surface, which is adapted to be connected to the shell. At least one cutout or transparent area is arranged in the foil adapted to be placed on the shell such that a medicament container arrangeable or arranged within the shell is visible through the cutout or transparent area. The cutout or transparent area exhibits a size adapted to allow inspection of the deliverable volume of medicament within the medicament container when the label is applied to the shell.

Drug delivery device

The present disclosure relates to a cap assembly for a medicament delivery device comprising a cap body configured to be detachably mounted to a housing of a medicament delivery device, and a cap lid configured to be attached to the cap body, wherein the cap body is configured to receive a needle sleeve and the cap lid when the cap assembly is attached to a medicament delivery device, the cap lid comprising an anti-recapping element configured to prevent the cap assembly from being reattached to a housing of a medicament delivery device once the cap assembly has been removed and the medicament delivery device has been used, wherein the anti-recapping element comprises a projection configured to engage a needle sleeve of a medicament delivery device to prevent the cap assembly being reattached to a housing of a medicament delivery device once the medicament delivery device has been used.

The present application relates to shock absorbers for injection devices. According to a first aspect, this specification discloses an injection device including: a medicament container; a stopper translatably disposed within the medicament container; and a plunger rod including: a plunger rod body; and a shock absorber, wherein the plunger rod is operable to displace the stopper; and wherein the shock absorber contacts the stopper during displacement of the stopper by the plunger rod, thereby reducing an impact force between the plunger rod and the stopper.

The present disclosure relates to an injection device including: a housing; a carrier disposed within the housing for holding a syringe that has a needle at one end; a needle sleeve located within the housing and being axially moveable with respect to the housing between an extended position and a retracted position; a biasing element configured to bias the needle sleeve towards the extended position; and a locking mechanism configured to lock the needle sleeve in the extended position after use of the injection device, the locking mechanism comprising; a first locking member provided on and projecting from the carrier; and a second locking member comprising a deflectable arm provided on the needle sleeve and moveable between a relaxed position and a deflected position.

The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery device, having a longitudinal axis and comprising a plunger movable along the longitudinal axis and a guide curve adapted to engage at least one part of the plunger so as to guide the plunger when the plunger is being released to move along the longitudinal axis.

The present disclosure relates to an injection device. The injection device comprises a body for holding a syringe having a needle extending from one end thereof and a cap that is removably attached to the body. The cap has a needle shield to cover said needle. The injection device further comprises a biasing member and a lock. The biasing member is configured to urge at least a part of the cap away from the body. The lock is moveable between a locked state, wherein the lock holds the cap and body together, and an unlocked state, wherein the cap and body are able to move apart.

An assembly for a drug delivery device includes a housing, a rotation member, a drive member and at least one correction member. In a delivery mode, the drive member and the rotation member are coupled such that the drive member follows rotational movement of the rotation member in a first rotational direction. In a correction mode, the rotation member and the drive member are decoupled such that the rotation member is rotatable in the first rotational direction with respect to the drive member. For switching from the delivery mode into the correction mode, the correction member is moveable with respect to the housing, wherein the assembly is configured such that movement of the correction member with respect to the housing is converted into a relative movement between the drive member and the rotation member for decoupling the drive member and the rotation member.

A medicament delivery device includes a case, a first plunger, a second plunger arranged telescopically with the first plunger, a first drive spring biasing the second plunger relative to the case, and a second drive spring biasing the first plunger relative to the second plunger.
