A centrifugal pump for delivering hot fluids, having a contacting shaft seal, a seal housing () for the shaft seal (), and a return line () for a partial flow of the delivered fluid, in which no delivered fluid is discharged out of the seal housing (); a separate housing cover () is disposed between the seal housing () and the pump housing (); there is a contact surface which minimizes heat transfer between the seal housing () and the housing cover (); and the return line () is connected to the housing cover () and/or to the pump housing ().

Sealing system for centrifugal pumps

An engine pump assembly (), particularly a main coolant pump, composed of a housing () of a rotary pump with delivery elements arranged therein, a heat barrier part (), a motor part () which drives the delivery elements, and force transmitting connecting elements () between a housing flange () of the housing () of the rotary pump and a flange () of the engine part (). For faster and more reliable assembly and disassembly, the housing flange () is provided with receptacles () over at least half of its periphery for the arrangement of screw heads () of the connecting elements (), which screw heads () are held in a bayonet-like manner in the receptacles ().

Main coolant pump

An electric motor () having a coaxially associated pump () for a coolant circuit, in particular in a system with temperature transfer and/or heat transfer, in which a shaft assembly () transmits a torque from the electric motor () to at least one impeller () arranged in the pump housing () within housing parts () in the form of a hermetically sealed pressure enclosure, and a flywheel () is arranged between the electric motor () and the pump housing (). All of the rotating parts are arranged within a hermetically sealed motor/pump unit, and the motor/pump unit is filled with fluid. The flywheel () comprises a flywheel body () made from a high-strength material having a large number of cavities () with inserts () formed of or containing a heavy metal having a density greater than 11.0 kg/dmarranged in the cavities.

Electric motor having a coaxially associated pump

A valve for switching over liquid paths, particularly for pressure exchanger installations with tubular pressure exchanger chambers () through which an alternating flow occurs, in which a rotatable control element () having a plurality of flow paths is mounted in a housing (), which in turn comprises a plurality of connection opening () connected to a first pipe system and to an end of at least one pressure exchanger. Another end of the pressure exchanger is connected to a second pipe system through a valve. A motorized drive shaft () rotates the control element so as to alternately connect the control element flow paths to openings inside housing (). Oncoming flow to the control element may come from an axial direction or from a radial direction, and outgoing flow from the control element occurs in the axial direction.

Valve unit for pressure exchanger installations

A pressure exchanger system having at least two tubular chambers, in which a plurality of reversing valves reverse the flow paths of fluid flows through the at least two tubular chambers. At least one driven reversing valve alternately reverses the flow paths between a supply source, which supplies a high-energy high-pressure fluid, and the tubular chambers. In reversing the liquid flows and shutting off previously open flow paths, the driven reversing element in the reversing valve executes a discontinuous or variable movement sequence.

Pressure exchanger system

A valve for switching fluid paths, particularly for pressure exchanger installations with tubular chambers through which fluid flows in an alternating manner, including a rotatable closing element () provided with a motorized drive shaft () and arranged inside a housing () having a plurality of connections () for connecting lines leading to a pipe system and to a respective end of at least one pressure exchanger. Another end of each pressure exchanger is connected through a valve arrangement to a second pipe system. A splitter () provided with a plurality of overflow paths () is arranged inside the housing (); mouths of the overflow paths are located on two axial end faces () and on the circumference of the splitter (), and a rotatable, disk-shaped control element () is arranged in a sealing manner at each end face of the splitter ().
