Agents for cosmetically treating keratin-containing fibers, in particular human hair, contain in a cosmetically acceptable carrier (i) at least one ester of formula (I), where Rstands for a linear or branched (C-C) alkyl group, a linear or branched (C-C) alkenyl group, a (C-C) alkylpoly(oxyethylene) group, an optionally substituted aryl group, an optionally substituted aryl(C-C)alkyl group or a (C-C) hydroxyalkyl group, and Rstands for an optionally substituted aryl group, a linear or branched (C-C) alkyl group, a linear or branched (C-C) alkenyl group, an optionally substituted aryl (C-C) alkyl group, an optionally substituted aryl (C-C) alkenyl group or a (C) hydroxyalkyl group, and (ii) at least one oil selected from at least one compound of the group comprising silicones and paraffin oil, which are particularly suited in the form of a spray mist for giving shine to keratin-containing fibers, in particular human hair.

Shine-producing hair treatment agent

A composition and method for treating keratinous fibers. The composition contains a wax component and is formulated as an aerosol spray. Other components in the composition are at least one emulsifier and at least one propellant.

A pressurized carrier mixture for aerosol preparations of a self-propelling spray system, for use as a universal spray based on the active ingredients to be applied, organic solvents, water and propellants in a spray container. The carrier mixture is present as a homogeneous solution containing: 70.0-50.1 percent by weight of water; 38.5-28.7 percent by weight of dimethyl ether; 0.5-10.0 percent by weight of isopropanol and/or ethanol and/or n-propanol; and 1.4-0.8 percent by weight of carbon dioxide.

The subject of the invention is a pressurised aerosol formulation, which is in the form of a mixture, to be sprayed as a cosmetic, room or medicinal spray, of a propellant gas and organic solvents, as the propellant, and also active compounds and solvents for the active compounds, wherein the improvement comprises that the mixture is in the form of a homogeneous solution and this contains at least 50 percent by weight, preferably at least 55 percent by weight, of non-combustible constituents--relative to the total weight of the mixture--and contains, as the propellant gases, carbon dioxide and dimethyl ether, and, as non-combustible constituents, at least water, carbon dioxide, methylene chloride and/or 1,1,1-trichloroethane. This pressurized aerosol formulation is during transport, on storage and in use a product of low accident risk for the indicated purpose.
