Method for the adjustment of a control current of current-controlled, hysteresis-affected hydraulic valves for the actuation of individual hydraulic functions of industrial trucks, the control current being generated in an electronic control device according to a manually pre-set transmitter signal, characterised by the following steps for each hydraulic function which is controlled by a hydraulic valve, an average characteristic line I=f(Q) is determined by experiments or via calculation, in which I is the control current and Q is the volume flux of the hydraulic medium flowing through the hydraulic valve, the specific characteristic line I.sub.res=f(Q) is measured for each individual hydraulic valve, and a first average control current value for a predetermined volume flux value is determined from the characteristic line values, between the first average control current value and a second average control current value, which is derived from the determined characteristic line I=f(Q) at the pre-set volume flux value, the difference is formed and a constant is added, and the control current correction value thus determined is attached to the case of the individual hydraulic valve as a code, upon assembly of the hydraulic valve, the code is read out and memorised into the control device, for the purpose of correction of the respective control current, when the hydraulic function is triggered, for the control current correction value according to the characteristic line I=f(Q) laid down in the control device.

A fork-lift truck having a mast, a load-carrying means having a load-carrying fork which is supported by the mast and is adjustable in height by means of a lifting and lowering drive wherein the load-carrying fork is adjustable with respect to the horizontal line by means of an inclination drive, and an electric control and regulation device for the respective drives which is connected to operating members for the lifting and lowering drive and inclination drive, wherein an analog sensor detecting the inclined position of the load-carrying fork is provided the inclination signal of which is sent to the control and regulation device and that the control and regulation device is connected to a separate operating member for the inclination drive or the operating member for the inclination drive is configured in such a way that actuating it causes the load-carrying fork to be automatically moved to a predetermined position, preferably a horizontal position.

A fork-lift reach truck having an extraction mast which is adapted to be displaced, by means of a mast drive, towards and away from a driving portion of the fork-lift truck on a horizontal guide, a load-carrying means which is mounted on a side shift, a side shift guide which is supported by the extraction mast in a height-adjustable way and is adapted to be actuated by means of a lifting and lowering drive, which guides the side shift in a laterally movable way, and a side shift drive, and an electric control and regulation device for the respective drives which is connected to operating members for the lifting and lowering modes, the mast extraction mode, and the side shift mode, wherein an analog sensor detecting the position of the side shift is provided the position signal of which is sent to the control and regulation device, and that the control and regulation device is connected to a separate operating member for the side shift or the operating member for the side shift is configured in such a way that actuating it causes the side shift to be automatically moved to a predetermined position.

A method for determining the weight of a load upon a load support of a hydraulic lifting device, in which the pressure of hydraulic fluid within a lifting cylinder is measured and a stored reference curve representing the relationship between the weight of the load and the hydraulic fluid pressure is determined by multiple measurements of the pressure resulting from loads of known weight and the reference curve. According to the method, the load support is lifted and lowered during a short period upon operator request or automatically to sense the load before and during load lifting and lowering operations and a plurality of pressure measuring values are obtained. A pair of average values of the pressure measuring values for respectively lifting and lowering is generated, as well as a third average value of the pair of average values. The third average value is then applied to the reference curve for determining the weight of the load.
