This disclosure provides various embodiments of software for providing a user interface (UI) model. In one aspect, the software identifies one or more components associated with a particular work center. The software then collects modeling information from the one or more components identified as being associated with the particular work center, and integrates the collected modeling information into a UI model associated with the particular work center. In some instances, the particular work center may be associated with or defined by a corresponding work center model illustrating the particular work center's UI layout, including at least a portion of components associated with the particular work center.

Software for integrated modeling of user interfaces with applications

This disclosure relates to methods, systems, and software for processing a coherent multi-dimensional business process model. The software includes computer-readable instructions embodied on media to identify a coherent multi-dimensional business process model based on at least a portion of a first model for a business process and at least a portion of a second model for the business process. The software then parses the multi-dimensional business process model to identify at least one extension point, each extension point operable to interface a disparate business tool with the business process. The software is further operable to present an extension wizard to a client for a particular one of the identified extension points. It can create entities and extensions in various modeling environments and development environments.

Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, to realize a software model are described. A user-centric modeling component is defined, the user-centric modeling component modeling an interactive software system and including a plurality of process steps, the plurality of process steps defining a business scenario. For each process step in the plurality of process steps one or more service requirements are identified, where a service requirement represents functionality necessary to accomplish a step. For each service requirement a process component capable of providing the service requirement is identified, the process component modeling software implementing a business process and defining a service operation for providing the service requirement and for interacting with other process components.

Composite application modeling

The disclosure provides integrated software for supporting a distributed business application comprising computer readable instructions embodied on media. The integrated support software is operable to automatically monitor the distributed business application for potential incidents. It also facilitates continuous data exchange between the distributed business application and a remote support module based on the automatic monitoring, with the communications in a protocol associated with a plurality of services in the distributed business application and with a plurality of incidents for these services. Upon identification of a potential incident, the software provides integrated incident management in the distributed business application and provides software maintenance management to the distributed business application for one or more identified incidents.
