Various embodiments include a method for producing a structure with a cold gas spraying method comprising: providing a carrier with a carrier surface, to which the structure is to be attached by the cold gas spraying method by following a travel path; and providing an element with an element surface different from the carrier surface. The element is arranged in the travel path and/or the travel path is specified such that intersections of the travel path and/or interruptions of the structure are arranged on the element surface.

Various embodiments include a method for additive manufacturing of a building structure on using a simulation comprising: accessing a data set for the building structure describing the building structure in layers; calculating a global heat development in previous layers based a building history and heat input by an energy beam; determining a local heat development in a vicinity of the heat input; determining the process control based on the global and the local heat development; loading correction measures from a database; and assigning the correction measures locally to individual vectors of a tool path of the energy beam. At least one mass integral is calculated for individual vectors of the tool path. The measures are determined on the basis of a comparison of the calculated mass integral with mass integrals stored in the database.

A component is produced in layers by laser melting. A molten pool is created in a bed of powder by a working laser beam. Further auxiliary laser beams are set to a power density that merely slows down the cooling of the material in one zone, but do not cause any renewed melting. In this way, the cooling rate of the microstructure can be set so that an advantageous structural formation develops. This allows for example the mechanical properties of the component produced to be advantageously improved without downstream heat treatments.

The surface of a component includes metallic fractions of Ag and/or Ni, touching MnOfractions which provide an antimicrobial effect. When using toxicologically safe Ni, these antimicrobial surfaces can be used in the food industry, for example. The surface can, for example, be applied by way of a coating on the component with the metallic fraction and the MnOfraction applied in two layers.

A method prepares a repair material for and repairs a damage point in the surface of cast parts. Spray particles having the same cast structure as the cast part are used as materials. The particles are applied to the damage point by cold gas spraying. The cold gas spraying is performed such that the spray particles are not melted and, advantageously, the cast structure is retained after the spray particles contact the repair point. The repair point can thus be advantageously furnished with the same properties as the rest of the component to be repaired. The repair material can be produced in that a cast part having the required cast structure is reduced to small pieces.

A component includes a catalyst surface having regions of CeO2 and regions of MnO2 that contact the regions of CeO2. Said material pairings may provide an improved catalytic effect compared to pure oxides. Said surfaces can, for example, also be used in indoor air purification to reduce the ozone content. The surface can, for example, be applied by coating the component and processed by cold-gas spraying of, for example, particles made of MnO2, to which CeO2 is applied.

The absorber layer is generated by cold gas sputtering, wherein suitable method parameters can in particular generate an increased surface roughness by means of pores in the surface region of the absorber layer. An absorber layer can thus be advantageously produced, having a quadratic roughness of no more than 1 &#x3bc;m, measured in a close range of no more than 50 &#x3bc;m diameter, and preferably being made of a corrosion-proof hard alloy comprising tungsten carbide, in particular WC&#x2014;CoCr, WC&#x2014;Co, WC&#x2014;FeCo, WC&#x2014;FeC, WC&#x2014;FeNi, WC&#x2014;Ni or WC&#x2014;NiCr.

A component has a catalyst surface including metal regions and regions of MnO2 contacting the former, wherein the metal regions are made of Co and/or Sn and/or Zn (or alloys of said metals). Said material pairings achieve a significantly improved catalytic effect in comparison to the pure metals. Said surfaces can be used, for example, in room air purification for reducing ozone content. The surface can be applied, for example, by coating the component, wherein the metal region and the region of MnO2 are applied in two layers.

A ceramic layer is fabricated on a substrate by coating the substrate with a material containing chemical precursors of a ceramic. The precursors are transformed by a heat treatment into the ceramic to be fabricated. Different methods for heat insertion may be used for individual layers by absorbing particles, which are utilized in different concentrations or different chemical compositions. A targeted heat insertion even in lower layer regions, for example, by microwave animation, or ultraviolet or infrared light insertion is therefore possible. Beneficially, as a result, comparatively thick layers in particular can be fabricated by a single heat treatment layer.

A component part has a catalyst surface. This surface has metallic components and components of MnO() in contact with the former. The metallic components are preferably formed of Ag and/or Ni. These material pairs achieve a great improvement in catalyst action compared to the pure metals. Especially in the case of use of Ni, which is toxicologically safe, these surfaces, for example, may also find use in ambient air purification for reduction of the ozone content. The surface can be applied, for example, by a coating of the component part, in which case the metallic component and the component of MnOare applied in two layers.

To form the metal foam having closed pores, the component is provided with a composite of metal particles that may have a layer of a blowing agent. Alternatively the metal and the blowing agent can also be arranged in layers of a sheet, or as a mixture of particles. A heat treatment is the applied whereby the blowing agent liberates a propellant gas, the blowing agent including fullerenes or nanotubes to which the blowing agent is chemically or physically bound. Due to the high temperature stability of the nanotubes or fullerenes, blowing agents may be thereby generated which liberate propellant gas at temperatures of above 1000 DEG C., such that even metals with high solidus temperatures of above 1000 DEG C. may be processed to metal foams.

In an analysis device and a method for testing the catalytic activity of surfaces, a reaction cell is provided that has a recess for a sample that is provided with the catalytic surface. In the analysis device, an optical test of the reaction occurring in the reaction cell may occur. The reaction cell has a closed channel that is part of a fluid circuit. The reaction cell may be advantageously designed in a very space-saving manner in its scale, such that a portable use of the analysis cell is possible as well.
