A composition including: —at least one silane group-containing polymer with a silicon content ranging from 0.6 to 2 wt. %, obtained by reacting at least one isocyanate group-containing polymer and at least one amino-, mercapto-, or hydroxysilane, —at least one liquid epoxy resin, and—at least one polyamine with at least three amine hydrogens which are reactive towards epoxy groups. The composition facilitates adhesives, coatings, or sealing compounds with a good storage stability, a fast curing time, even in the event of moisture or humidity, a surprisingly high degree of strength while having a high degree of elasticity, a high degree of resistance against further tearing, a high degree of resistance in particular against glycol/water mixtures, and a high degree of adhesion to many substrates. When used on metals such as steel or aluminum, the composition protects same against corrosion.

Two-component composition with a high degree of strength

A curing agent for epoxy resins, including at least one amine A1 of the formula (I) and at least one amine A2 which is a polyalkyleneamine or polyethyleneimine, where the weight ratio between amine A1 and amine A2 is in the range from 20/1 to 1/2. The curing agent of the invention enables inexpensive and low-emission epoxy resin products having good processability, long pot life, surprisingly rapid curing, especially also under cold conditions, high strength, high bond strengths, high glass transition temperature and a low tendency to yellowing, with formation of surprisingly nice surfaces having barely any blushing-related defects even in the case of two-dimensional application and under moist and cold conditions. Such epoxy resin products are advantageously usable as coating, especially for floors, or as adhesive.

Hardener for epoxy resins

A composition containing calcium nitrate, at least one epoxy resin and at least one amine of formula (I). The composition allows the manufacture of low-emission epoxy-resin coatings that have good workability and that cure particularly rapidly in cold and damp conditions, without blushing-induced surface defects, thus achieving coatings of in particular high mechanical quality, with a minimal tendency to yellowing.

Accelerator for curing epoxy resins comprising alkylated amines

A curing agent for epoxy resins has N-benzylethane-1,2-diamine and N,N'-dibenzylethane-1,2-diamine in a weight ratio in the range from 65/35 to 95/5. The curing agent is easy to prepare, thins epoxy resins particularly well, and enables low-emission epoxy resin products that have good workability and a long pot-life, cure reliably and surprisingly fast and can be walked on after a short time, in particular even in cold conditions. Coatings of particularly high mechanical grade, with a high surface quality and a minimal tendency to yellowing, can thus be produced. Epoxy resins of this type are particularly suitable for coating floors.

A curing agent for epoxy resin compositions containing at least one amine of formula (I) and at least one amine of formula (II). The curing agent is a low-odor, low-viscosity, low-toxicity curing agent and has a low propensity for carbamatization and a high reactivity toward epoxy resins. It enables low-odor and low-emission epoxy resin products which are readily processable and which even at low temperatures and high humidities undergo rapid and problem-free curing to afford high-quality plastics having a high hardness and a regular, non-tacky surface with high gloss.

Curing agent for low-emission epoxy resin compositions

A process for preparing a curing agent for epoxy resins, in which an amine mixture including at least one parent amine of the formula (I) and at least one alkylated amine of the formula (II) is reacted or adducted with at least one glycidyl ether of the formula (III). The amine mixture is especially a reaction mixture from the partial alkylation of the amine of the formula (I). The process described enables, with low energy expenditure and high space-time yield, curing agents of low odor, low toxicity, low viscosity and high reactivity for epoxy resins and epoxy resin products that cure rapidly at ambient temperatures and especially also under cold conditions and at the same time enable high-quality coatings having an even, shiny surface.

Method for producing a curing agent for low-emission epoxy resin compositions

A curing agent for epoxy resins, containing at least one amine adduct of formula (I) which can be obtained as an addition product of a mixture of a primary diamine, a monoalkylated other diamine and a polyepoxide. The curing agent makes it possible to produce low-odor, low-emission epoxy resin products, in particular coatings, which have a surprisingly low viscosity, a high curing rate, a high final hardness, and a surprisingly appealing surface.

The use of an amine of formula (I) as a component of a hardener for epoxy resins, hardeners for epoxy resins containing the amine of formula (I), and resultant epoxy resin compositions which can particularly be used as low-emission room-temperature-curing epoxy-resin coatings with high hardness and surface quality. The amine of formula (I) is low-odour and a very successful diluent for epoxy resin compositions. It is particularly obtained by reductive alkylation from 1,2-ethylenediamine or 1,2-propylenediamine and an aldehyde or ketone.

Amine for low-emission epoxy resin compositions

A composition including at least one polymer containing silane groups, at least one epoxy resin, and at least one amine of the formula (I). The composition is low in odor, low in toxicity, and highly workable. It enables low-emission products which cure rapidly at ambient temperature to form macroscopically homogeneous films or bodies having good mechanical properties, high thermal stability and good adhesion properties, the mechanical properties being able to be adjusted from very elastic through to tough elastic. The composition is especially suitable as adhesive and/or sealant or coating.

Curable composition

An amine of formula (I) in a curing agent for epoxy resins, a curing agent for epoxy resins containing the amine of formula (I) and resultant epoxy resin compositions which can be used particularly as low-emission room-temperature-curing epoxy resin coatings demonstrating good workability, rapid curing, a high degree of hardness and high surface quality. The amine of formula (I) is low-odour, can be handled well at room temperature even without dilution, and can be produced at high purity in a simple process.

The invention relates to the use of an epoxy resin composition, containing at least one reaction product from the reaction of at least one amine of formula (I) with at least one carbonyl compound of formula (II) and hydrogen, as a cold curing primer or adhesive. Primers or adhesives of this type cure rapidly and trouble-free at ambient temperature, even at cold temperatures such as 10 or 5&#xb0; C., suffer remarkably little yellowing and are free from toxic phenol compounds such as phenol, tert-butylphenol or nonylphenol. The primer has a particularly low viscosity and is particularly suitable for priming porous mineral substrates.

Cold curing epoxy resin primer or adhesive

The present invention describes a one-part moisture-curing liquid-applied waterproofing membrane having a polyurethane polymer, a long-chain aldimine and a hardener selected from an oxazolidine and another aldimine. The membrane has a low viscosity at low solvent content and a good shelf life stability and cures fast to form a solid elastic material. The membrane is particularly suitable for roofing applications, possessing high strength, high elongation and good durability under outdoor weathering conditions in a broad temperature range.

Liquid-applied waterproofing membrane for roofs comprising a long-chain aldimine

The present disclosure relates to a two-component composition containing a polymer polyol, a dial chain extender, an aldimine of formula (I), optionally additional polyols and diphenylmethandiisocyanates in the two components. The composition is particularly suitable as a manually applicable solvent-free liquid film for coating and/or sealing floors and roofs. It also has a long open time, cures quickly and without complications in a wide temperature and humidity range, has a high level of strength and is weather resistant.

Solvent-free polyurethane liquid membrane

A two-component composition, containing at least one silane-group-containing polymer that is liquid at room temperature, at least one epoxide liquid resin, at least one polyetheramine, and at least one aminosilane or mercaptosilane. The composition has low odor, cures quickly and without blistering at room temperature, and, when cured, forms a tough elastic material of high strength, high adhesive force, and good thermal resistance that has no tendency toward yellowing or substrate discoloration. The composition is excellently suitable as a tough elastic adhesive for structural adhesive joints in the field of construction and in industrial production.
