A molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) sensor including a substrate, two or more electrodes, a conductive layer applied to the substrate and a molecularly imprinted polymer layer applied to the conductive layer is disclosed herein The MIP sensor may form part of an MIP sensor system that can be used to detect and quantify target molecules.

Molecularly imprinted polymer sensor systems and related methods

Micromagnetic elements, logic devices and methods of fabricating and using them to store data and perform logic operations are disclosed. Micromagnetic elements for data storage, as well as those providing output from a logic device, are at least partially covered with an optical coating that facilitates determination of the magnetic state. The disclosed logic devices perform one or more of AND, OR, NAND and NOR operations.

Micromagnetic elements, logic devices and related methods

Substrates having a surface coated with fullerene and a substance attached thereto are disclosed. Cell culture substrates having a fullerene-coated surface are useful in methods of growing cells on the fullerene-coated surface. Methods of preparing cell culture substrates for cell attachment and growth by coating a surface with fullerene are provided. Cells can be grown on a fullerene-coated surface in the presence of a substance such as a cytokine, growth hormone or a drug, to evaluate the interaction between the substance and the cells. Methods for increasing cell membrane premability and for introducing a substance, such as a DNA or RNA vector, into a cell are also provided.
