A method of monitoring an air flow in a zone () of an HVAC system () is described, the zone () comprising a supply port () and a return port (), a first flow sensor () configured to measure a supply flow (&#x3d5;) through the supply port (), and a second flow sensor () configured to measure a return flow (&#x3d5;) through the return port (), the method comprising: recording by a control system (') the supply flow (&#x3d5;) measured by the first flow sensor () and the return flow (&#x3d5;) measured by the second flow sensor (); determining by the control system (&#x2032;) an infiltration and exfiltration component (&#x3d5;), using the supply flow (&#x3d5;) and the return flow (&#x3d5;) recorded by the control system (&#x2032;); and determining by the control system (&#x2032;) an operational sensor state of at least one of the first flow sensor () and the second flow sensor (), using the supply flow (&#x3d5;), the return flow (&#x3d5;), and the infiltration and exfiltration component (&#x3d5;).

Method of monitoring an air flow in a zone of an HVAC system

A device for measuring a volume flow in a ventilation pipe () comprises a sensor element () disposed on the mounting () and configured as a thermal anemometer. Upstream of the sensor element is a turbulence-generating element, which is configured and disposed at a distance from the sensor surface () such that highly turbulent flow is generated in the region of the sensor surface in a targeted manner. Downstream of the sensor surface is a flow element (), which widens in the cross-section thereof in the flow direction (L), wherein starting from a height level of the sensor surface a height is reached that is greater than the height of the break-away edge () opposite the sensor surface.

Device for measuring and regulating a volume flow in a ventilation pipe

A control device (') comprises a control unit (&#x2032;) with a control element for controlling a fluid flow and being rotatable about a first axis () between an open position and a closed position, and a separate motor-driven actuator unit (), which is mechanically coupled to said control unit (&#x2032;) to rotate said control element about said first axis () in a controllable fashion, whereby said actuator unit () comprises a driving part () with a driving element () being rotatable about a second axis (), to be mechanically coupled to said control element in a coupling position to rotate said control element about said first axis (), and a control part () for driving said driving element () in a controllable fashion. Said driving element () is removably coupled to said control unit (&#x2032;) by means of a spur gearing (Hirth serration) ().

Control device

An anti-twist device retains an actuating motor (), which is placed in a force-fitting and/or form-fitting manner onto the projecting driveshaft () of a pivotable shut-off flap () of a gas transport tube (), in particular of an HVAC tube or flue gas tube for a building, in a longitudinally moveable manner. Arranged at an adjustable axial distance (a) from the driveshaft () is at least one clamp () which secures the actuating motor (). The parallel limbs () of the preferably substantially U-shaped clamp () are of resilient design, wherein in each case one end-side, inwardly projecting latching lug () is formed for holding down the actuating motor ().
