Disclosed is a three-way valve () with an A-port (A), a B-port (B), and an AB-port (AB), a valve body () and a regulation body (). The three-way valve () further includes an A-sided valve seat (A), an AB-sided valve seat (AB) and an auxiliary valve seat ('), wherein the A-sided valve seat (A), the AB-sided valve seat (AB) and the auxiliary valve seat (′) are each arranged inside the valve body () and contact the regulation body () in a sealing manner. The A-sided valve seat (A) is arranged at the A-port (A), the AB-sided valve seat (AB) is arranged at the AB-port, and the auxiliary valve seat (′) is arranged opposite to the B-port (B), with the regulation body () between the B-port (B) and the auxiliary valve seat (′).

Three-way-valve

A control valve () for regulating a fluid flow in an HVAC comprises a valve body () and a temperature sensor () configured to measure the temperature of a fluid () flowing within the control valve (). The temperature sensor () is arranged such that the temperature sensor () is essentially thermally decoupled from the valve body ().

Control valve

To balance (S) a group of consumers in a fluid transport system in which each consumer is provided with a motorized control valve for regulating the flow through the consumer, characteristic data for the consumers is stored (S) which determines a valve position of the relevant control valve for target flows through one of the consumers in each case. A current total flow through the group of consumers is determined by means of a common flow sensor (S) and a balance factor (S) is defined on the basis of the current total flow and a sum of the desired target flows through the consumers. The consumers are dynamically balanced by setting (S) the valve settings for the corresponding control valves on the basis of the characteristic data and the balance factor.

Method and devices for balancing a group of consumers in a fluid transport system

A 6-way valve () comprises two similar 3-way sub-valves () being mechanically coupled with each other, such that both sub-valves () are always in the same position, whereby each sub-valve () has three different valve ports () and a valve member (') with an internal connecting channel (), which valve member (&#x2032;) can moved between first and second end positions via an intermediate position such that in said first end position the first () and third () valve ports are connected with each other by means of said connecting channel (), in said second end position the second () and third () valve ports are connected with each other by means of said connecting channel (), and in said intermediate position said connecting channel () is disconnected from said first and second valve ports (). A simple and effective volume/pressure relief means () is provided at one of said valve members (&#x2032;), which volume/pressure relief means () establishes a hydraulic relief connection between said first or second valve port () and said third valve port () of the respective sub-valve (or), when said sub-valves () are in said intermediate position, and is inactive, when said sub-valves () are in the first or second end positions.

6-way valve and HVAC system with such a 6-way valve

The invention relates to a pressure equalizing insert () which is provided for installation in a valve () for regulating a fluid stream in particular in a HVAC system. The pressure equalizing insert () comprises a housing () having an actuating member () which is movably mounted thereon and is configured to at least partially guide the fluid stream regulated by the valve () and, when the pressure equalizing insert () is installed, co-operates with a valve seat () depending upon a pressure difference prevailing in the fluid stream in order to regulate the fluid stream. The invention further relates to a valve () having an installed pressure equalizing insert (), wherein the pressure equalizing insert () can be inserted in particular as a pre-assembled assembly into the valve ().

Pressure equalizing insert

A control valve having a closing element, mounted in a housing between an inlet side and an outlet side and rotatable about an axis between a first and second end positions, and a passage channel through the closing element perpendicularly with respect to the rotational axis. The channel has inlet and outlet openings and connects the inlet side to the outlet side in the first end position, disconnects the inlet side from the outlet side in the second end position, and permits an increasing throughflow of a medium during the transition from the second end position into the first end position with a characteristic curve. Low valve noise is achieved because of the shape, size and configuration of the inlet and outlet openings of the passage channel and the configuration of walls of the passage channel without steps and edges.

For the purpose of balancing (S) a group of consumers in a fluid transport system in which each consumer is configured with a motorized regulating valve for the purpose of regulating the flow through the consumer, characteristic data for the consumer is saved (S) which determines a valve position of the corresponding regulating valve for the target throughput through each consumer. A momentary total throughput through the group of consumers is determined (S) by means of a common throughput sensor, and based on the momentary total throughput and a sum of the desired target throughputs through the consumers, a balancing factor is determined (S). By setting (S) the valve positions of the corresponding regulating valves based on the characteristic data and the balancing factor, a dynamic balancing of the consumers is carried out.

Method and devices for equalizing a group of consumers in a fluid transport system

The invention relates to a flow restrictor () for restricting a volume flow through a liquid line, said flow restrictor comprising a support () having a passage and a bent flat spring () attached to the support (). The flat spring () comprises at least one spring tab () and the passage at least one opening (), the spring tab () and the opening () having a substantially identical extension along a longitudinal direction. The spring tab () is designed and arranged above the opening () in such a manner that it increasingly rests against the support () with increasing differential pressure, thereby gradually making the opening () smaller and continuously reducing the passage within a defined pressure range. The dimensions of the opening () are adjusted corresponding to the size of the spring tab (), thereby allowing a compact flow restrictor () which is less susceptible to dirt. The continuous reduction of the passage allows an increase in vibration resistance of the flow restrictor ().
